Misleading/Communication Issues

Check in process was a nightmare, Big Fish Realtor demanded identity verification that would put one at risk of a breach. I tried several times to work with someone to verify I was the person booking and was unsuccessful. Finally the Host called back and sent a maintenance worker to my room at 11:30pm to verify who is was. I will never rent a property listed with Big Fish. Now the room, deceiving - in serious need of paint, the floor had so much sand when we arrived, no carpet in the living room space and the laminate on the cabinet was damaged and peeling off. Big Fish Realty threatened to charge fees/penalties for damages so I suggest taking pictures to protect yourself.

Not as advertised

First of all let me say that we are not a picky family but cleanliness is super important to us. We picked this condo because has recent reviews was on how clean it was and that was not the case. The walls was disgusting. It looked like people spit on them on certain spots, dirty handprints everywhere, paint missing off walls. The finish was peeling off the cabinets, the floors left your feet black, the furniture was so tore up with rips and gross looking. It is advertised for 8 people but their kitchen was not set up for that. we had a 1 skillet that was the size of my hand, no pans at all l, and lots of pots. When you are a family of 7 it is very hard to cook with a very small skillet. Some of the food we had bought to cook got wasted because we had nothing to cook it In. The beds were very uncomfortable. My husband did message them when we first got there and sent pictures of what we walked into and their response was that they noted it on file. The positives was…..the bathrooms were clean, the parking was decent, centrally located to everything. We would never stay at that condo again.

Great Fall Break

Our trip was great. We are able to walk almost everywhere. It was hard to decide if we would go to the beach, pools or hot tubs.

Looks just like the photos!!

Loved the check in process. No lines at the front desk, just type in the codes to the room. This place looks as advertised! Directions were simple. I recommend to read them twice.

Great location!

This property was in a great location. Walking distance to pier, restaurants, bike and golf cart rentals, and Theme park. About a 20 minute walk to the Boardwalk and SkyWheel. Condo was clean and had a good amount of space. Beach had chair and umbrella rentals, and water sports rentals right down the beach.

Myrtle Beach 2023

The actual unit for the description and was well taken care of. AC was excellent. View was superb. Capped by dolphin views this morning for a good hour. First time to see dolphins in Myrtle Beach. We stayed in the heart of things to keep a precocious 4 yr old and adventurous 8 yr old entertained. If you want action this is the place to stay. Sorry to report the pool area was dirty. No shower. Defective hot tub no floats for lazy river. Most features needed work. Still fun but could have been better maintained. Only saw one employee the entire time. No one to report issues to at the complex. Most of the issues would take much work to repair beyond maintenance.

The pics were close to accurate except for the kitchen was dirty and the cabinets were falling apart. I appreciate you guys replacing the dishes and silverware the second day of our stay. The couch was very dirty and uncomfortable. The beds and bathrooms were nice and clean.

DO NOT BOOK

This was a birthday get away for my 8 year old son. When we entered the room, we did a walk through. We took pictures and videos of the damages of the room and sent them to the property manager/owners! The room is not worth the price! Not only that you are responsible for cleaning the room! We did EVERYTHING that was asked and these crooks still kept our deposit! I tried to contact these people multiple times concerning my deposit and they would not get back to me! SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION! DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT!

We always love staying at Oceans One… we have made it a tradition in our family…. This was a trip for my mother in law that was diagnosed with cancer and about to start treatment…. It was a bit cloudy so we didn’t see a sun rise but it was wonderful

Very disappointing

The picture was quite deceiving. The furniture was falling apart. The walls and woodwork were in need of repair and paint. There were places to sleep right, but no place to feed right and certainly not enough in the kitchen to cook for right. Gentlemen at office did not know the channels available on the television and the person on the phone was not quick to send assistance. She did not know the channels, either. Lots of rules for us to follow but apparently not followed by previous guests. There was no sense of urgency when we reported a clogged commode. The location was very good. Ease of check in and out , but I would not stay here again.

Great location, nice condo. Would be nice to have more dishes, limited glasses, broom but no dust pan, no kitchen wash cloth to do dishes, no pillow cases for extra pillows. Just those small things would have made our trip that much better. Nice to have washer and dryer, good amounts of bath towels for all guests. Beds were very comfortable

Over priced and the pool had floating rubbers in it.

The price for the condo was extremely high for what you are paying for. The hot tub did not work and the pool had condoms in it. Only one elevator worked and the smell in the hallways reminded me of an outdoor gas station bathroom. I am surprised they have not demolished the whole building. The fire alarm would randomly go off and on. I will not stay there again.

Awesome views

The condo was just what we needed for our short stay enjoyed our coffee out on the deck. The beds where unbelievably comfortable and the bathrooms large and clean. The owner is very nice and attentive she got right back to us with all our questions. The pool and hot tub where clean and refreshing, it's a great area to walk no need for a car everything right there. Hope to return next year.

The unit was lovely and everything was just as described. We were in MB to visit with old friends so while we didn't spend much time in our unit, it was comfortable, clean and had everything we could need.

Short stay over Thanksgiving

The condo is small. We generally are able to cook and have Thanksgiving dinner in the room. There was 4 of us and the table/ kitchen was way to small. The kitchen had limited cookware we had to buy a basic can opener and tea pitcher. The condo has a lot of wear and tear the kitchen faucet and cabinets made you feel like they would break when you had to touch them. There was a lot of cleaning like taking out the trash making sure the shower curtains and towels were spread out so no mold etc. The owner was attentive to the few things that we reached out for. The floors were beautiful and the beds were comfortable. They had so much of their stuff in the floors of the closets that we could only hang our clothes and had to stack our suitcases up in the corners of a small bedroom. For a family of 3 that didn't enjoy cooking and enjoying eating in this would be fine. The resorts pools were great and the walk to the pier was great too.
