Fabulous stay

What an amazing property!! Beautifull well equiped house with large bedrooms. Fantastic garden, with a large dining area and a majestic pool that we and the children loved. Overall an outstanding family-villa.

We had a wonderful time in Mas de gardies!

Very nice place for our holiday! We enjoyed the hugh gardens and the heated pool, although the weather was quiet cold and rainy. The beds and bathrooms were great. an the whole house ist very well equipped The best was Cedric. He helped us realy a lot.. Thanks for all.

A fantastic house for our party of 10 adults and 8 children

This is a lovely place for adults and children alike. The pool was a great hit with all. And we kept discovering new things to do. So many games toys etc for all ages. All the bedrooms have a bathroom and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor dining space for our group of 18.

Home away from home

Mas de Gardies is a stunning retreat tucked away in South of France near Ales. I've keep going back, always with a large group of friends, to make the most of the beautiful pool, sunshine, croquet, beers, candlelit al fresco dining til late with local wine, and the multitude of cosy rooms indoors. It's easy to forget that the nearby towns are also charming, if you make it outside the grounds! I can't recommend it highly enough!

Just Perfect

This was a family holiday for 16. It was a fabulous place to meet and share time together. The house was more than we could have hoped for, it lacked for nothing. The salt water swimming pool was also a great hit with the children ( and some of the bigger children !!! ) A very friendly & helpful caretaker ( sorry, his name escapes me)visited us daily. He was also great. We would all love to return. Thank you

Not quite according to the photos

A fabulous pool, nice surroundings and a very helpful owner who was really quick to respond to any question we had. However, there were quite some mishaps during our week. In the description it is stated there is aircondition. This was the worst air conditioner we have ever seen. This needs to be hung out through a window and is extremely noisy and is not doing its job, i.e to cool down the room. We couldn’t get the temperature lower than 24 degrees Celsius and with feverish old parents this was a nightmare. Furthermore, the house is old and not well looked after. Cabinet doors in the kitchen are hanging very loosely and we had several electrical short cuts which made fridges and freezers (and washing machines) stop. To sort this out we needed to call the neighbor many times which was a bit disturbing. Finally, since we are a family who loves to cook and was looking forward to using the grill in the garden it was rather irritating to have to clean it or pay 200 euros to have it cleaned. We left it in a perfectly clean condition but felt this should be included in the somewhat hefty price for this house. All in all, we enjoyed our stay but would hesitate to recommend this house to people we know.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay in Monteils. The house is very well equipped and has everything you could possibly need. The spacious kitchen made it easy to prepare meals for our group, and the large outdoor dining table in the shade was perfect, especially since the weather was very warm during our stay.The large swimming pool and the lovely pool house were also great assets and contributed greatly to our enjoyment of the property.The beds in the bedrooms are generally a bit smaller, which is quite common in France, so that was not an issue for us.Our cycling team has been organizing cycling trips for over 30 years, staying in many different houses and accommodations throughout Europe. We can honestly say that this is the best house we have ever rented.Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to stay. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable group holiday.

Die Unterkunft war absolut hervorragend! Ein Traum von Aufenthalt für große Familien. Wir waren hier mit 10 Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern. Der Pool war riesig. Einfach genügend Platz und Raum im Haus und drumherum. Herrlich! Kann ich bestens empfehlen.

Excellent séjour en famille. Très belle propriété, propre et bien entretenue. Le cadre est magnifique et au calme.Nous étions 3 générations (de 5 à 72 ans), la conception de cette propriété nous permet de partager un séjour tous ensemble sans avoir l'impression de se gêner.La piscine est superbe et sécurisée par un volet rétractable.Tout cela nous donne envie de revenir et nous recommandons sans hésitation !

Un havre de paix dans les Cévennes

Très bien accueillis par le gérant. Idéal pour 16 personnes ! Maison très lumineuse : grands espaces communs, chambres agréables avec salle d'eau attenante. Belle terrasse ombragée. Magnifique piscine avec pool house convivial. Vaste parc arboré. Seul bémol : il manque 1 WC hors salle de bain au rez de chaussée. Nous avons passé un excellent week-end entre amis début octobre. Nous recommandons fortement ce gîte pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis.

Un havre de paix !

Très belle maison avec beaucoup de caractère. La très grande piscine chauffée est un vrai bonus. Tout est à disposition pour des activités : jeux de société, Ping Ping, pétanque. Les chambres avec leurs sanitaires respectifs apportent beaucoup de confort. La maison présente également l’avantage d’être proche des sites à visiter : Uzes, la bambouseraie d’Anduze, le pont du Gard,…… En quelques mots: nous avons passé un séjour enchanteur
