Beautiful and secluded

It was a beautifully renovated property, quiet and secluded. My kids and I said, "wow" more than once when we walked in. Very happy with the experience, I would be happy to stay there again.

Quiet home in excellent location

Three of us were visiting Alma and Fairplay for a short stay on business. This home fit our needs perfectly. It was also in a remarkably secluded spot and just a short distance from CO 9. I imagine the large attached garage would make a great asset in the winter months.

Great time!

The only complaint is how bumpy the roads are. Being 7 months pregnant it was rough but obviously out of their hands! We loved the location! Saw a few elk and deer while we were there!!

Fantastic view and location!!

We loved everything about this home. It was the perfect location for us to visit and do so many things (ATV near Salida, South Park/Fairplay, Breckenridge, Loveland Pass, etc.)! The communication with the owner was fantastic. The place is beautiful! Yes the road is on the wild side, but we looked at it like an adventure. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Alma home in the mountains of Colorado.

Excellent communication with the owner. Lovely home with mountain views. Comfortable, affordable, clean, and plenty of room. The appliances were easy to use and the cooking areas were well laid out. It was easy to find and easy to drive to mountain trail heads and hike the trails in the area. Excellent property! I will be returning to this property in the future.

Absolutely perfect!

The property is kept in great shape! Clean, updated, stocked and everything works!! The little details like a double shower heads in the master and a super deep bath were much appreciated after a nice hike! Also having our huge master on a different level was definitely a plus! Stunning views and wild life were just a cherry on top. We saw Moose with a baby in the front yard, deer, bunnies and a very large variety of birds! We will definitely be back!

Views are worth it

We had a quick trip to do some hiking and sight seeing. This location was great, easy 15-20 min drive from Breck. Woke up each morning to a family of moose in the front yard eating the aspens. Property was clean, exactly as in the listing, super easy check in and out. Only watch-out, use the directions for county road 12, it’s a bit longer, but CR-10 is a bumpy road. We had an outback and it’s a bit much. Overall we will stay here again next year.

Alma outing

Property was very nice, good views, clean, and spacious. There are a few things that I would and did expect for a property of this value. Oven broiler does not work, bbq pit thermostat does not work. bedding sheets and pillows below average. Paper goods low grade, paper towels, toilet paper. Bath towels and wash clothes rough. And water pressure is very poor. Other than these few thing this is a very nice and spacious home. There was plenty of room for my family to stay, play, and sleep.

Peaceful Place

This is a very nice property and exactly the quiet setting we needed after a busy week in Breckenridge. The house is nicely decorated and well-furnished with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, a kitchen loaded with all needed utensils and appliances, a large deck to watch sunsets and wildlife, a private back patio for grilling and hanging out, and a downstairs with bedrooms, bath and living area with large TV. The internet service performed well when we needed it for work. Finally, Patrick was a very attentive and friendly host who did a great job taking care of any requests that we had. I definitely recommend this property and Patrick to anyone looking to get away to a peaceful setting for some down time.

Christmas Vacation

The property is awesome and well maintained - we loved the large windows with awesome views. Perfect, peaceful spot close to downtown Alma and not a far drive from Breckinridge. The owner is very friendly and is available if you need anything. Happy to have stayed here 😊

Beautiful views

House makes great use of space, and was very roomy for our family of 4. Could have accommodated 6 very comfortably. Views are gorgeous, and we saw several deer and many birds from the deck. Nice trail network just 1/4 mile up the road. Lots of moths this season, everywhere in the house, but my boys loved them so not actually a downside for us. Pots and pans could use a refresh, but pretty typical for a rental.

Great Mountain Home

Our family had a fabulous vacation at this beautiful mountain home! It was very comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed to make delicious meals for our family. Our kids really enjoyed the 2nd living area downstairs with a big screen TV and play area. The owners were very responsive and easy to get in touch with. The house was perfect, out in the country with a short drive to Breckenridge. We will definitely be back! Ashley

Be mindful of the snow!

We are from Austin and weren’t aware that we should have a 4x4 to get through to the home. It was understood that there would obviously be snow (duh!), but figured it would be fully plowed and driveable for tourists. Because of this, we got stuck just a mile out from the home. However, the locals were amazing and so helpful! We managed to get a ride to the home and back to the car with our belonging with some help. All in all, the experience was awesome....oh and the home was gorgeous! It looks exactly like the photos show!
