Glenbrook Country cottage

A thoughtfully appointed two bedroom cottage, in Glenbrook, featuring a well equipped kitchen and warm, cozy living space.

Our hide away is located on a quiet no exit road, very close to the vintage steam trains, Spookers, Pokeno markets. Clark’s beach just around the corner and Karoitahahi beach on the west coast, Waiuku Village is only a 10 minute drive, with Pukekohe only 15 minutes. Manukau Heads Lighthouse close by. Cafes, bars and restaurants at your fingertips.

The perfect place for a romantic couples get away, solo and business travelers, conferences, girls weekends and wedding parties
Other features include:
Comfortable new beds, with quality linen and towels provided, one queen and two king singles.
Internet access with Ipad and chromecast available for Netflix and Youtube.

We are happy to take overnight bookings at request Sunday-Thursday.

Please be aware we do rely solely on rain water and a septic tank. Smokers outside only. No pets.

Glenbrook cottage

We stayed at the cottage for a family wedding. It was the perfect place for us to stay due to the location, and it’s size. The cottage had everything we needed in a peaceful location.

The place itself was OK, but the lack of communication was incredible. I had to call VRBO to get the host to respond to me with check-in info. Not the cleanest place either though it was comfortable. It was nice and quiet at the cabin though. Didn't see a dryer though it may have a been a one-tub washer dryer. The kitchen was equipped however none of the dishes were made to be used in the microwave or dishwasher. So not as useful. I used my own purchased picnic plates in the microwave. If you have an allergy to bee stings, this may not be comfortable here. The front stairs were bracketed by bushes that had at least twenty bumblebees and some honeys bees and the other bush had an active yellowjacket nest in it and one inactive. They did have bug spray that knocked them out at least. The outdoor furniture looked old and weathered and splintery.

Great little cottage had everything we needed

Everything was great it did rain nearly the entire time we were there the gardens need cutting back from the walking path to the house but this is minor the place was great and comfy beds

Modern comfortable country cottage which still has that vintage touch.

We really enjoyed our stay. Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped with modern facilties. The provided continental breakfast is a bonus. Jacqui was an amazing host and went beyond by providing us a lovely spread of food on Christmas day! Highly recommend.

Im kühlen NZ-Winter war es zunächst schwer, alles aufzuheizen. Als das gelungen war, war es fast perfekt: Recht gut ausgestattete Küche, in der man alles machen kann, gemütliche Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer, Bad und Waschmaschine/Trockner ist alles da und funktionabel. Das WLAN könnte schneller sein - man ist beim streamen häufig an der Grenze. Der Kontakt mit Vermietern ist sehr nett und pragmatisch! Sogar eine Garage ist dabei; ein schöner Garten, eine schöne Aussicht. In der Gegend um Waiuku ist man in angemessener Zeit bei Tankstelle, Versorgern, Highway, Auckland.

Absolutely wonderful cottage

An absolutely wonderful cottage in a beautiful rural area southwest of Auckland. The airport is only 40 mins away. Comfortable bed in a spacious bedroom, superb bathroom, and a wonderfully outfitted kitchen. If we were going to be in that area of New Zealand for a longer period of time, we would have definitely wanted to stay longer!

A little piece of paradise

This was a long weekend getaway with my son and his friend for some racing at Pukekohe raceway. A beautiful little place to stay at, 15min from the township on a nice quiet dead end road. The property was cosy and comfy with all the mod cons to make life easy. Would have no hesitation in staying here again. The owners have a little piece of paradise here
