You do have access to the whole residence for your private use, just not use of my bedroom down the front! I am not @ the house when guests are!

Please be aware that this is a ecologically sensitive residence & l prefer guests have as little impact on the environment as possible! No aircon - not necessary due to solar passive design!

I do attempt to recycle all wastes, conserve energy use & restrict water wastage whenever possible! I just attempt to live responsibly & would appreciate if guests could show similar empathy!

It must be noted that guests MUST NOT WANDER from the house onto the surrounding farm for biodiversity reasons! No dogs for the same reason!
The gravel road from gate to house is only for driving in & out! Not for wandering!

The main suite is @ the rear of the house, has an amazing superkingsize bed & huge French doors with spectacular forest views!
Magnificent mahogany wardrobe, spectacular cedar chests & access to the indoor lap-pool!

Total privacy & very young child/children are welcome in the queen suite with its own bathroom & door separating it, or maybe privacy for parent(s)!

All to yourself & flexibility if you choose total privacy!
You do not see other houses & the drive up through the valley is just absolutely beautiful, farmland down low, old-growth forest close to the house!

10-12mins drive to Gerringong & another 2 mins to Werri beach! Gerroa & Seven Mile beach a further 5mins Sth!

The huge leather lounge in main living area is sooo comfy!

Aux facility for playing iPhone through a choice of stereos! Even a turntable & my cherished vinyl collection!
The amplifier is powerful & doors may need to be closed if played loud! A smaller Bose Bluetooth speaker is also available!

The solar-passive design of the house retains heat well!
Heavy, backed antique silk curtains, but best left open please! The spectacular forest & ocean vistas should be appreciated! House elevated, even the Lyrebirds & wombats can’t see in!

The big Heatmaster open-fireplace adds comforting warmth on those cold winter nights with lots of wood stacked ready!There is a safety screen, but young children do need to be supervised!
Firewood & kindling are stacked in cooler months & ready for use upon arrival!

All bed linen, doonas & towels are included!

The front deck embraces ocean & valley views & has 4m wide, 3m high bifold doors that open up from the cathedral like main living area!

The residence has a fairly rustic atmosphere as the 150-year-old cedar furniture has the inevitable patina of age!

The white-on-white colour scheme throughout creates a very impressive light-filled space for the many precious antiques!

The kitchen has been a recycled job, but functions beautifully! Commercial grade gas oven & gas cooktop (oven awaiting a new jet 7/12, apologies!

A large convection microwave is available for use, although the solar hates it!

Huge 6 burner undercover BBQ! Also a second smaller Weber BabyQ BBQ on the front deck!

Two huge rainwater tanks & great water pressure!

The active solar system produces sufficient 240v power (if guests do not indiscriminately waste power)! There is a new $8,000 backup deisel generator to support the solar system during inclement weather!

The envirocycle sewerage is fully operational servicing both bathrooms! Care is needed with not depositing foreign items in toilets please!
