Welcome to Matilda!

Nestled in the heart of Jindabyne, 'Matilda' is a gorgeous home boasting comfortable furnishings and breath taking views of Lake Jindabyne. The house has been freshly painted and is fully self-contained, featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two private parking spaces. With the capacity to sleep nine guests comfortably, it is the perfect holiday home for families and friends seeking adventure or relaxation.

The first bedroom features a queen bed, a walk-in robe, and an en suite, while the second bedroom has a queen bed and built-in robes. The third bedroom is perfect for children, with a tri bunk and a bunk bed. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, including a stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, and walk-in pantry. The newly decorated open plan living/dining area features a new lounge and dining setting, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The gas heater and ceiling fans ensure a comfortable stay throughout all seasons.

The floor to ceiling windows make the most of the stunning lake views, opening out to the wrap around deck. The full laundry is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and an extra fridge, just in case. For family entertainment, the house is equipped with games, free Wifi, a digital television, video, and DVD player. BBQ facilities are located out back with a yard, perfect for enjoying the outdoors.
Please note: The property is accessed via a steep angled driveway, which may require some caution when entering and exiting. Stair access is required for entry into the home, we can offer access to the stair lift if required for qualifying guests. Additionally, there is a private studio located underneath the house with its own separate entrance.

'Matilda' is just a short five-minute walk from Jindabyne Town Centre and a 30-minute drive to either ski resort. Whether it's a summer or winter holiday, 'Matilda' is the perfect property for your next family getaway.

Beautiful Home amazing Views

Matilda is a lovely home with stunning lake views from the beautiful living area, Main bedroom and Deck area. The home is so relaxing with good size rooms, large master with ensuite and robe, main bathroom and extra toilet. The kitchen is very well stocked. The house was also spotless with good quality linen and very comfortable beds. It is easy walking distance to the town and the lake. It is a great family holiday home which we certainly would come back again.

This place is great for families! We stayed here with grandparents, 2x sets of children and an 18-month old and it was perfect. A great space and very close to the center of Jindabyne. Would recommend anybody to stay there.

Great house, great location!

We had a week at Matildas for the school holidays. There was plenty of room for our 3 kids and it was central making it an easy walk to the park and the shops. The gas fire place added a great ambiance on the colder nights and kept the house warm. We will be back for sure during the winter months for our family snow holiday!

Nice and Tidy place in a great spot.

Matildas was great for our stay, much larger than other apartments in jindabyne at a reasonable cost. Everything was neat and tidy and comes with everything you need. Only downsides were the steep driveway and lack of parking. Would definetely recommend to others.

Poorly kept

The accomodation lacked several important features. No carport and on street packing is minimal. Extremely steep driveway shared with another house difficult to navigate as well as several metal steps to gain access to house made it difficult for outer crutches bound guest. The only TV in the house had a broken usb drive and no foxtel so dont bother bringing hardrives to watch movies. Owner made aware and told tenants it is a non essential item. One bedroom too small for the second pull out trundle bed to be utilized. Dishwasher overflowed water. One bedroom had zero heating after a broken oil heater was supplied. Could not be more disappointed.
