Very clean rustic style cabins. No frills but very comfortable. Owners are very nice and responsive. Cabins were very well stocked for kitchen equipment. Great location right on the water. Great for just sitting back and watching the birds and boats go by.
Mary's place was a great experience for the whole family. Lots of open space for the kids to play and close to all amenities. They are very kind and helpful, and always available to make your stay memorable and comfortable.
My daughter and I stayed for a very short vacation and had a wonderful time. The views from the cabin were lovely and we had the peace and quiet we were both looking for. Our hosts were most gracious and friendly and made our stay even more memorable.
The owners were friendly, but didn’t hover, allowing us to really enjoy the peaceful area. Great spot if you like birds (geese, swans, and herons all came by the property). Very out of the way and perfect for anyone looking to disconnect.
As already communicated to VRBO, the host Mary probably did not receive our reservation, so that despite the reservation confirmation in hand, we could not stay as planned...That was a very bad experience with vrbo!
This place is decent if you are looking for a value vacation and don't have high expectations. It is a typical old little cottage but still charming. The owners are very nice people and the location has beautiful views. It's definitely the kind of place you need to bring your boat or have planned activities. The only negatives I can say is that the BBQ was old and rusted and the portable fan inside didn't work. The cottages also dont have individual fire pits which is a bit of a disappointment but not a deal breaker for us.
