This property is a unique waterfront jewel! Our recently renovated home was built on Baisdens Bluff, which allows for the most amazing views of the Crescent River and surrounding marshes. It is conveniently located 40 minutes from the Savannah airport. St. Simon's Island, Darien, Shellman Bluff and Sapelo Island are all close in proximity and fun to explore.

While indoors, the home features French doors across the back to enjoy the scenery. The master bedroom has a king size bed, large flat screen smart tv, and bay windows overlooking the scenic river. A large soaking tub and a shower with dual heads, as well as a walk in closet are added features to the master bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and tv for guests enjoyment. A third downstairs bedroom sleeps four in two sets of bunk beds and is a fun place for all the kids to sleep. There is an additional bathroom with a tub/shower to be shared among these two bedrooms. Upstairs you will find a fourth bedroom with a queen size bed and a bathroom with a tub/shower. Each of the bedrooms is beautifully decorated and accessorized for your added comfort.

The living room area is designed as an open floor plan with a vaulted ceiling. It includes plenty of seating for the whole family to enjoy and a flat screen smart tv. Another wonderful feature is an indoor swinging bed conveniently located in a reading nook. The updated kitchen is equipped with all new stainless appliances and modern concrete countertops to complete the look. The indoor dining room table accommodates 6 guests and there is counter top seating which seats an additional four people. The laundry room is conveniently located off the kitchen and is equipped with a new washer and dryer. There is also a half bath off the laundry area which is easily accessible.

Out back there is a generous sized back porch with four rocking chairs overlooking the river and marsh, an open concrete area with a fire pit, and a screened in porch with outside seating for 8. In front there is ample parking for four to five vehicles. We have a Nest security camera that views the front drive area only. If guests request, we can disarm during their stay. If you enjoy lounging in the sun, the dock features a seating area on the top level and there is plenty of room on the lower deck as well. Four kayaks are available for your enjoyment as well as life jackets for your safety. You are welcome to dock a motor boat here during your stay. Public boat access is only a mile down the road. The adventures of the crescent river await you! Enjoy crabbing, fishing, beaching, and the vast array of wildlife. Come visit and discover the ideal escape from it all!

Great location!

This is a terrific location and the house is gorgeous. It’s been upgraded throughout and is super spacious and comfortable. The back deck and dock were beautiful and gave us access to a lot of fun! Tap is a wonderful owner and made us feel very comfortable.

Very cool area!

We thoroughly enjoyed this area of Georgia and the location of the house. We brought our boat and had fun going through the marsh rivers to the other islands. It was great just walking out the back door to the beautiful view, dock and access to the waterways. The owner was so helpful with all our navigation questions and very enthusiastic about the area! The house itself needed some serious attention. It needs updating and several things need to be repaired or just attended to. It does have a charming beach cabin type feel.

Fantastic house for a small reunion

The house was beautiful and open. All five of us had plenty of room for our long weekend. The view of the marsh was so beautiful. We watched the sun rise every morning and even got to see the full moon rise over the marsh. We had a really wonderful trip.

Fabulous Friends Getaway

My husband and I have stayed several times before but this time we brought some other couples with us. Tap is always great to work with and the upgrades they did to the house were nicely done. As always the view was spectacular and the house fit our needs. We enjoyed shopping downtown Darien at some of the shops and antique stores. We absolutely loved our trip!

Great Place, Enjoyed By All

We loved our stay at this property. Our teenage kids and their friends enjoyed the dock access for fishing kayaking and swimming. The neighbors were wonderful and made the stay even better. The only thing I would change would be that there were more pots for cooking. We stayed in to eat most days and struggled with only one large pot. When feeding a crowd like ours, we just needed a couple more options. Otherwise, we had no complaints and would love to stay again!

perfect for girls weekend

Crescent View is a nice house in an incredible setting. The home is spacious and comfortable with everything you could need. The mattresses are of good quality and there's lots of indoor and outdoor space. But the backyard overlooking the marsh is magic. We were five adult women and had a great time cooking together, doing puzzles, getting out the kayaks and reading/napping. It was the perfect weekend. Thank you!!

Beautiful views, lovely home

We had a relaxing week on the marsh in this beautiful home. The owner was great to work with - great communication and provided helpful information. The home is well equipped and maintained and the views of the marsh and Crescent River are stunning. We fished off the dock, watched the tides on the marsh, and enjoyed the amazing sunrises. Prepared seafood for dinner every night thanks to Shell Creek Seafood market only 4 miles away. The salt marshes of the Georgia coast are one of our favorite places on earth and this home is a perfect place to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the salt marsh.

Absolutely Fabulous

We came into town for a wedding. The home was wonderful! Beautiful setting! Spacious living area. Amazing space in bedrooms. Location was great! The view from the back porch relaxing on the rockers was spectacular. If you are an early riser the sunrise is such a magical way to start the day! The owners were so helpful in being sure we had a good visit with all the information that was shared. We did not want to leave! We will be back to relax and enjoy once again! Beautiful get-away

If you are looking for a place to get away out of town and away from distractions, this is your place. The dock is beautiful. We saw rays, something with a dorsal fin, and maybe an Alligator? Lots of fish down there if you like fishing. This place is really out of town, very secluded, but with good enough internet for us to work (which is what we wanted). Savannah is about an hour away. Tybee (beaches) would be about that, guess. The FLA coastal beaches would be about 1.5 hours. I would rent there again. Gorgeous sunrises!

Week @ the lake house

The house is beautiful, and located 30-35 minutes from a Super Target and other stores needed to gather supplies. It is about an hour away from St Simons beach(we went every evening ☺️) Trip, the homeowner was great. My husband, 3 year old and myself loved the home and would definitely go again!!! Of course it's the middle of summer so it's extremely hot and tons of bugs and mosquitoes in the summer ( this should be expected) We will return in the Winter, Early Spring or Fall.

Better than expected!

I stayed here with my 2 grown children and their partners over Christmas. We had plenty of seating and a wonderful table where we could enjoy meals, games and a puzzle. The most stunning thing about this house, though, is the view. The minute you come through the front door the marsh is the main attraction. Opposite the front door is a bank of windows showcasing the spectacular view of the marsh down below. The marsh is the star of this house! I enjoyed the sunrise on the back porch every morning while my “kids” slept in, and we all enjoyed the moonrise while sitting around the fire pit at night. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. I definitely recommend this beautiful home.

You wish for nothing when at Crescent View!

We LOVED this home and location. This home is very comfortable, views are amazing and the home offers the best in rental amenities. For those who rent and vacation a lot, fluffy thick towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash for each bathroom was a very nice touch, comfy beds with very nice linens, and well stocked kitchens are a luxury in today's market....the best attention to detail I've ever seen in a rental, THANK YOU for making it just like home but better. Lyla thank you so much for all your prompt response in booking and nice emails on fishing, dining and helpful hints, you are the most attentive manager I've ever delt with, our family adores you. We fished the river, enjoyed the sunrise and sunset each day in the rocking chairs, slept in comfort and prepared amazing meals....ahhh the sweet life is truly available at crescent view! Relaxing Getaway

My wife and I along with our kids and some friends spent a weekend at this Crescent House. House was clean, well stocked with towels etc, and the view was tremendous. Crescent River dock was convenient, we brought our boat and left it at dock. Tide was not too swift for a safe tie off here. Little tricky getting out of river on dead low tide, but once we found where to go it was no problem. Kids went to nearby beach at St Simons, while my wife and I fished. Went to Blackbeard Creek and Cabretta Inlet, you need to go. Mr. Parker was great to work with and nice enough to send me maps and locations of restaurants. Super guy who makes sure his guests are informed and their stay is pleasant. Check out B&J's restaurant, worth the wait, and fried shrimp are best Ive eaten. We will be back.

The house is well-maintained and the owners added little extras to make us feel welcome. We slept 10 very comfortably since we had the right balance of kids and adults. It wasn't bare bones as some rentals are. The master bed was very comfortable and the view was lovely. We would recommend!

Family Birthday

Grand kids and sons celebrated with Mimi and Papa on Papa’s birthday House was perfect and the view from the house overlooking Cresent River and marshes was breathtaking , sunrises were majestic.Plenty of room for everyone and kitchen/eating area was very convenient.

I am from the small farming town of Lake Providence, Louisiana which is located in the northeastern part of the state. I attended Louisiana Tech in Ruston, LA and then returned home to begin farming upon completion of my degree in Agriculture/Business. My wife, Jennifer, is from Monroe, LA and attended the University of Mississippi where she received her business degree. She later earned her MBA at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS.
My family resides in Monroe, LA and I commute to my farmland in the area of Lake Providence and in Arkansas. I farm cotton, corn, soybeans, and milo and I feel quite fortunate to love doing what I do on a daily basis.
Our blended family consists of five children who range in age from 10 - 22. They are all very active and have a love of nature and the outdoors. We enjoy traveling and making memories through our adventures.

Why they chose this property

This area of the Georgia coast has intrigued me since my first visit here many years ago. The beauty of the rivers, marshes and coastal land is indescribable. It is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. We purchased the property in November of 2014 and we are all looking forward to exploring the area together. Each visit thus far has introduced us to many new wonderful people, beautiful churches, amazing places rich in history, delicious fresh seafood, and incredible adventures. We are looking forward to enjoying many more years in this community.

What makes this property unique

The location of the property situated on Baisdens Bluff gives it an added advantage of incredible views of the crescent river and marshes. The river is deep water which allows it to be navigated anytime of the day despite the tide fluctuations. We have a dock enabling the use of river to your heart's content.
