We had a family gathering here and it was perfect. There were 45 of us! The house is very comfortable with everything we needed. The outdoor space and hot tub is great too. Plenty of space for cooking, eating and hanging out.

This is our second men's retreat at the big house. We love the atmosphere for a retreat, plenty of space for activities, the kitchen is great for serving food, and accommodations are comfortable.

It was a wonderful location and a beautiful lodge. We had a great host who was very responsive to our needs. We were a group of 29 women from the city so we were not expecting a moth mating season to be going on while we were there! At first we did not know what the baby moths were and were a bit nervous. But Jesse explained what was happening and brought us citronella candles and other repellents and the stay ended being awesome.

Awesome Time!!

We took a large youth group for camp and had an amazing time!! The house was perfect and had so many places to spread out! Sleeping arrangements were a breeze with all the room options, and the cafeteria helped the meals to run smoothly! We had dozens of games and activities that were easy to set up on the property, and the outdoors were above expectations! On a side note, Jessica is the best manager ever!!! She resolved a couple small issues quickly and was incredibly easy to contact. Thank you so much for such a great stay! 💙

Perfect retreat setting!

We had a work retreat this week at the Big House Lodge, and this was the best setting for us! Not only were the rooms quiet and comfortable, but we loved the huge kitchen where our staff that love to cook could shine. We had fantastic weather so we were able to enjoy the gorgeous fall colors and sweet little pathways through the trees! Lots of mountain views and starry nights in the hot tub. The host was an excellent communicator - very prompt to respond and proactive in communicating. If you're on the fence about whether or not to book this place - you should!

Staying at the Big House Lodge will go down in history as one of my all-time favorite rentals, and weekends in my lifetime! The house was even better than advertised, and we were amazed by the space, cleanliness, location, and Jess's hospitality. She really went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible stay, and I've honestly never interacted with a host that was so kind and fun. We had a group of about 35 people and stayed at the Big House Lodge for our annual camp trip, and will definitely love to stay here every year moving forward! Thanks Jess, can't wait to go back! :)

Family Reunion Weekend

We had a great weekend at the Big House, and it is a beautiful property and great space inside for a large group of people. All the rooms with the bathrooms was really great for our family dynamics, and was a big upgrade from previous family reunion rentals. There was unfortunately a water issue that resulted in no running water Sat-Sun, but working with the home owner and property manager was really smooth and they worked really hard to make our stay comfortable, including bringing a portable potty and hand washing station to the house. Even with the water incident i would 100% come back to stay again and anyone who is looking for a family friendly property for both indoor/outdoor activities this place is it.

Peaceful and comfortably accommodating to our large group of women seeking R&R!!!

Our group of 20 was delighted with the accommodations provided at this year's ladies retreat. (Big House in Cle Elum). We were able to easily prepare and serve meals in the main kitchen, dine together and later play games in the dining room, and have our group sessions in the TV room. The ladies loved having a bathroom for each bedroom and enjoyed taking quiet walks on the beautiful and peaceful property. The hot tub and pool table were fun perks! We look forward to coming back!

Enough space for everyone

We had a great weekend at this home. Once a year, three generations of our family come together for the whole weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone. 3 different table areas so we could have board games, crafts, and just visiting happening simultaneously. The kitchen space was comfortable to cook in, with two separate areas that were near each other. Be aware of the bed arrangements so you can plan for who is where. I didn't ask others, but I know the primary bedroom bed was very comfortable.

Great spot for our Women’s Retreat

The Big House Lodge was a perfect place for our church’s women’s retreat. The rooms and beds were comfortable and everyone appreciated the en suite bathrooms. The kitchens (there are two of them!) are well equipped and we had plenty of space for meals, crafting and just chatting. The two large living spaces were perfect for our meetings and Jessica and John spent extra time with me to make sure we could project on both the tv and screen. We used the barbecue and hot tub and both worked great. I especially appreciated Jessica’s attention to detail and to our specific needs. My ladies want to come back next year!

Great Stay for our Women’s Retreat

We enjoyed a comfortable and cozy stay for our group of 28 women. We especially appreciated the en-suite bathrooms for almost every bedroom. The kitchen was well appointed with every small appliance, pot, pan and utensil you could think of and included enough plates/cups/silverware for everyone. The spacious living areas were perfect for both our large group gatherings, as well as cozy spots to gather for more intimate conversations. The close proximity to Cle Elum made it great for a shopping jaunt, but it was secluded enough to feel we were separated from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. The hot tub was a nice option too. Jessica was great! She responded to every question and made sure we were all set upon our arrival. Wonderful retreat weekend! We will be back!

Our second time at Big House- lovely space for a scientific retreat

We had a wonderful time for our scientific/academic retreat at the Big House. Jessica went above and beyond to accomodate us! The house was clean and welcoming. We were greeted with a cherry pie and fresh fruit- lovely touch. This was our second time staying at Big House and we had a great time. The space is large enough to fit all of us, lots of space to spread out but yet be all together, the kitchen is equipped nicely. The Big House got a satellite wifi and that was a HUGE improvement from the last year, as we had 40 people on multiple devices and internet worked great! Also it was nice that the house had extra paper towels, tums and other first aid necessities as we ended up needing them for our group. We look forward to coming back to Big House at some point!
