This exquisitely decorated apartment in Upper Woodstock s most premier address, is beautifully designed, with well appointed spaces. The Iron Works is a mixed-use development comprising one level of ground floor retail, 3 levels of parking, and 5 levels of residential apartments. The location is perfect with easy access to the N1 and N2 highways, and is less than 1 km from Cape Town s CBD. Wifi & Aircon. Your friendly & efficient host will ensure your stay is a memorable one.
Woodstock is an edgy, evolving neighborhood where hipster cafes, veggie eateries and galleries occupy old factories covered with vivid murals. The renovated Old Biscuit Mill is home to cool design stores and hosts the weekly Neighbourgoods Market, with street food stalls, African handicrafts and designer fashion. On nearby streets, quirky stores sell vintage fashion, up-cycled furniture and antiques. My personal favourite spot is JAMAICA ME CRAZY. A buzzing double story restaurant & bar. This relaxed, colourful Caribbean hangout with rooftop terrace, has an incredible sea view over the harbour, and mountain views. You MUST try their Caribbean cuisine, sipping on a Jamaican Rum cocktail, listening to reggae music.

Getting around
Taxify and Uber are the best taxi options for getting around in the area. You are able to hire a vehicle of course on arrival in Cape Town, from various car rental companies at the airport. Remember that in SA, we drive on the right side of the road :). The MyCity bus route is less than 10 minutes walk from the apartment, and it s pretty safe to walk around during the day. This bus service runs to the Cape Town city centre, and has a really good mobile app for your travel planning. Remember - lots happens in Woodstock, and you are able to get around on foot to take in the local sites.
