Great hospitality in lovely tranquil location

This property is tucked away in a quiet, rural location but is perfectly located for access to beaches, walks, shops etc. Brendon was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, suggesting we check out the surf - which was fab! Wish we'd stayed for more than one night!

Nicely decorated with a big living area, 2 bedrooms and full kitchen with all of the amenities. It was a lovely place to stay and it had really nice touches like a loaf of fresh bread, 2 litre bottle of milk in the fridge, a 1.5lt bottle of orange Just Juice and even had a Nespresso Coffee maker with in house coffee capsules. Would highly recommend this lovely place and the owners were lovely too. It's nice to have such a great place to stay that are pet friendly and our 2 little Pomeranians loved the walk in the Orchards 😊

We’ve lived in Tauranga two years after moving from Auckland for a change in lifestyle. I’m originally from Wellington and my wife Louise is from the UK, and we have a 14yo son, 11yo daughter and a black lab named Flint.

Apart from caring for the Avocados, we enjoy outdoor activities including mountain biking, fishing, swimming, travelling, and of course meeting and hosting new guests.

Why they chose this property

Located in a beautiful rural haven, the orchard is only short drive from Tauranga and Mount Maunganui. The Lodge sits amongst 200+avocado trees so is very peaceful and quiet.

The Lodge is clean, modern and spacious and is perfect for families (including pets) wanting to experience orchard life.

Free car parking and storage available. Gas BBQ provided for summer, and there’s an unlimited supply of firewood for the log burner in winter.

This rural haven provides a peaceful, tranquil and safe spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, yet provides a perfect location to go exploring Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty/Waikato regions.
