Very good value for the area

For a rather old property, it was fairly well maintained and was more than adequate for a family or group. It presented very good value for the area which in general is well over-priced.

We really enjoyed ourselves at Shimoda. It has everything you need and a location that can't be beat. We especially appreciated the extras that made it from a place to stay into a home.

A great rental property close to a lovely beach

We stayed at this property for 5 nights along with our son, daughter in law, grandchildren and my elderly mother. The bedroom set ups were absolutely perfect for our group. The McKenzie beach is a very short walk and the children were able to go swimming many times - so easy to duck to the beach for a short time. The house has a lovely outdoor BBQ area. We had a very relaxing stay and will certainly consider renting this property again when we are back in the Bateman's Bay area.
