We did enjoy our visit. The property sleeps several people, but there's not much parking, so it's best if you carpool. Great location with easy access to dining and other amenities.
The location was fantastic. We enjoyed sitting on both porches. We rented both levels of the duplex and had plenty of room for 5 adults and a one year old. Would stay again!
The house is lovely, with beautiful and comfortable furnishings. It is in a great neighborhood with restaurants and a small beach within walking distance. Liz was very responsive and a fab host. Couldn't be happier!
We recently visited Minneapolis for a family reunion. The house was perfect for two families to stay in and we enjoyed biking and running at the nearby lakes as well as the ease of visiting downtown. The house is beautifully decorated and everything, especially the towels and bedding, were of a very high quality. We hope to stay here again!
My family stayed at this address to attend a memorial service. It was exceedingly clean, the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets as it was cold weather. I grew up in Minneapolis so I know there are many interesting things to do in this part of the city.
Beautiful, spacious urban stay convenient to everything
This is a delightful home with plenty of room; we had 8 staying, 6 unrelated people and had plenty of private space to spread out. It is a former duplex so has a "complete" unit upstairs and one downstairs that are connected. Lovely updated kitchens and furnishings and bedding. Quiet and safe neighborhood and so easy to get to bus line, Lake Harriet, airport, downtown MSP was less than 15 minutes away. The host was very responsive and helpful. Two off street parking spots were very convenient, there was also easy on street parking when we had family over. The check out instructions were minimal (reasonable!). Delightful restaurants and shops very short walking distance away. Great wrap around porches we didn't use but would be good for a different season. The kitchen is well-appointed and we cooked several meals there and had everything we needed. I thought the price was very reasonable for an urban setting of this size. Everyone loved the location and wants to come stay again in the Cities and explore more in other seasons! Thank you, Liz!
This house had more than what we needed for our college reunion get together. Great location, ample kitchen and living room space for sharing stories and laughter- such an ideal stay. Thanks!
We stayed at the Harriet Lake House in June and it was just perfect. The house itself is a sweet little treasure with everything we could have needed or wanted. The owner was available for any questions or problems (though we had none of either). The location is wonderful; a short walk to the lake and many stores and pubs close by. We just loved our stay and will be there again on our next trip to the Twin Cities. Thank you Liz!
Awesome place for our group of 7. The house was as advertised and super clean. Liz was awesome to work with and very responsive to messages. Check-in/out was a breeze. Location is pretty much within a 15-minute or less Uber to anywhere in or around the city. Harriet Lake is also within walking distance and a nice bonus. Would definitely recommend it and stay again!
We were in Minneapolis for our sons wedding. The homexwas awesome. Centrally located to downtown, airport and venue. Liz was very prompt and a great communicator. Highly recommend and will stay again when there !!
Beautiful house located near Lake Harriet and plenty of restaurants. Highly recommend for a large group or two families. It was two seperate levels with two of everything. My girlfriends and I really enjoyed making food, playing games and walking around Lake Harriet. Extremely good communication throughout our stay and very clean property.
Our family had a wonderful time in the cottage near Lake Harriet. We normally stay in the suburbs but really enjoyed being in the city. The house was very clean and comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Liz communicated promptly with our questions. Everyone enjoyed walking to the many restaurants nearby. They loved swimming and boating on Lake Harriet and the polar bear put on quite. a show at Como Lake zoo. Thanks Bob B
Aldrich Cottage was a beautiful, welcoming space to call home while in the Twin Cities for our son’s wedding. Centrally located, we could get to venues easily, as well as finding local and national stores close by. The cute walking neighborhood and lovely yard drew us outdoors, too. Liz was a very helpful host and quickly responsive when we had questions. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
