About this property

Santa Teresa Surf Vista Villas is a boutique hotel featuring six fully equipped vacation suites and a beautiful swimming pool with ocean view deck. All six suites have panoramic views of Playa Santa Teresa’s world-class beaches, surfing, tropical jungle canopy, and surrounding mountains.

We´re located on a small private hilltop with no neighbors except for the diverse wildlife Costa Rica is so well known for.

We are conveniently located just outside the hustle and bustle of the downtown area of Mal Pais/Santa Teresa. Still close enough to enjoy the wide variety of restaurants and amenities. We have an onsite concierge as well.

The Surf Vista Villas was the perfect place to stay to experience Santa Teresa. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and night life.

We only stayed one night so hard to say anything since it was so short.

Nice property and beautiful view but it would have been nice to have a coffee pot.

Awesome spot, a little tricky to get to

Loved our time at surf vistas villas! The flat that we stayed in was perfect with a few beds, a working kitchen, and a beautiful view of the ocean + the pool was really nice. The concierge was very friendly and helpful and even assisted us with setting up Covid testing down in Santa Teresa so we could return home. The one critique I would make is the proximity to downtown and the beach is a little misleading. While it may be about a quarter of a mile from town and half a mile from the beach, the road up to the villas is very steep and primitive so it's not really something you would want to walk. Just make sure you have a capable 4x4 vehicle for the drive. An advantage of the distance from the town however is that even with busy traffic and road work happening down in the town, the villas are very quiet and relaxing.

Hidden Gem

Wonderful Hosts! The property is just a wonderful space with the best views I have seen in Costa Rica ..... Just a short walk down the hill you are on the main drag and close to beach Access.
