Very close to superb nature
We stayed last October and the house was perfect and very well equipped. The view of Superstition Mountain is superb. The backyard is very pleasant for an aperitif. The host was easily reachable to answer our questions. In short, it's perfect! Jean & Joane

Sweet Casita
The Casita was very clean, quiet, well maintained and convenient for all our adventures. The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking tools, there's a grill and outdoor seating area, nicely furnished and even W/D - everything you need for a great stay. The owner is very responsive and nice to work with. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

About the host

Host profile image
I grew up in Apache Junction and I'm a proud graduate of Apache Junction High School. Immediately after high school, I decided to join the Navy! I've spent the last 30 years moving around the country with the Navy spending the majority of my time aboard submarines. Additionally, I proudly commanded the Navy Recruiting district in Phoenix and as of 2020 I'm now retired.

Why they chose this property

This property has been in my family for over 30 years. It's humble beginnings featured a double wide manufactured home in the middle of an overgrown acre. In 2015, I had the opportunity to update and improve upon this outstanding location and I'm proud to provide a new, beautiful home and guest house to keep in the family for the next 30 years and beyond. It's my pleasure to share this little gem in the desert with you!

What makes this property unique

Each day you're awakened by the sun peering over the majestic Superstition Mountains, several species of birds singing joyfully, quails crossing at a stone's throw. You may have the opportunity to see the local carriage drawn by mules or have a coyote cross your path. The night sky is brilliantly lit by millions of stars and there's no better place to see a full moon. The breeze is always welcome and if it's a little too warm for your liking, you can drive north and be in a cooler climate in a few short hours. There are endless outdoor activities to enjoy: several lakes and the Salt River are nearby, numerous hiking trails, stables, biking, and festivals... just to name a few. All major cities are easy to access.
