Stuibenfall-Tyrol's larger waterfall: The Stuibenfall in Umhausen is an impressive natural experience. The interested viewer has an unforgettable and impressive natural spectacle. The Stuibenfall is considered the largest and most beautiful waterfall in Tyrol. The water masses rage 159 m into the depths.
Recently, a total of five platforms have been built on the Stuibenfall in various sections, from which the waterfall can be experienced up close. Especially on the top platform, the visitor is on 'You and You' with the Stuibenfall.
Every Wednesday from May to October, Tyrol's largest and most powerful waterfall is illuminated after dark! On these days there is also the possibility to take part in guided lantern walks.
Recently, a medium-weight via ferrata, which was set up by Ötztal mountain guides in spring 2008, has been leading along the waterfall.

In addition to moderately difficult night trails and high altitude trails at over 1,500 m, the area offers, in addition to the impressive panorama, cross-country trails between 1 and 22 kilometers in length. Experience the Tyrolean nature on relaxed rounds through the valley or bring your condition to a new high in the clear mountain air. The routes are lavishly groomed and each according to your ability or your needs.
Tobogganing is a wonderful activity for families, teenagers or the elderly. Regardless of whether with a feeder taxi or after a strenuous approach: a toboggan ride is always fun.
In the Ötztal you can choose from a variety of toboggan runs.
Mostly the toboggan trip can be combined with a cozy stop in a hut or an inn.
