A charming 2 bedroomed villa, inland from the Costa del Sol. Villa Maria, set on a peaceful hillside amid an avocado grove, is situated 5 mins from Coin and 25 min from Marbella, Puerto Banus and the sea. The cosy villa is in excellent order throughout with full air conditioning. Accommodation comprises one twin bedroom and one double bedroom. Shower room and WC. The kitchen is fully fitted with hob, oven and microwave. The sitting room is comfortably furnished and there is a smart TV with freeview and a DVD player. Dining area. The beautiful 8x5m private swimming pool has a tiled surround with sun loungers and there is a lovely raised shady eating area. The pool terrace is gated off for child safety. Depending on the time of year there is fruit to be picked on the driveway. Beautiful views, especially from the roof terrace. Villa Maria lies within reach of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Within 2/3 hours drive you could be hurtling down the slopes of the highest mountains in Spain. A fascinating break from the drudgery of the pool or golf course! Highly recommended.

Great view, good outdoor space

Comfortable property with good outdoor space, lovely views, we stayed for 6 weeks during September the weather was fantastic. A really good base for discovering the surrounding area eg Marbella, Estepona, Ronda, Málaga, Nerja. Only downside was the approach to the property from the town and a very tight driveway if you have a large car.

Relaxing break with fantastic mountain views

Just finished our week break at Villa Maria in Coin The place took a little finding at first but once there, what a lovely place If we needed to know anything a quick message to Kate the owner and straight away she was there to give us little snippets about the area. Villa Maria is a lovely mountain retreat with fabulous views and has everything you possibly need, better wifi than we have in the U.K. Coin town is just a short drive away with plenty of places to eat and drink Mijas is just 30 mins away and is well worth the trip. Would strongly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a chill out week, we even had eagles soaring over in the afternoon sun to give us a display while we lounges around the beautiful pol area complete with a nice shaded dining area to escape the hot sun Well worth the trip and hope to return soon Jon & Julie Neal

Can't wait to go back!

***No hire car required*** We loved our stay at villa Maria, so much so that we asked to stay another week! To do this without a car you need to WhatsApp A1 taxis with the GPS coordinates of the villa (provided by Kate) and where you want to go. The taxi driver helped us take out our rubbish and with all our shopping. The villa is beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking. The pool was lovely and very well maintained. Kate and Simon were extremely helpful and made our stay as comfortable as possible. We give it 5+ stars and can't wait to go back Many thanks Colin and Stevie

Villa Maria in Coin

The outside space is lovely, the pool is clean and big and the view into the valley is lovely. However, there is no view to the pool from the villa unless you look out of a bedroom window. Not great if you need to watch young children. The inside space is small with just two bedrooms. The kitchen and living space is fine and the choice of TV good. The one really bad thing were the beds, they were very noisy and so unconfortable (very hard). They really need to be replaced. Air conditioning was good.

Fantastisk beliggenhed, pool og udsigt

Vi - 2 voksne og 2 drenge (9+13 år) - tilbragte ti skønne dage i Villa Maria. Huset er skønt og pool, tagterasse og den skyggefulde poolterasse var endnu bedre en forventet. Vi kunne aldrig blive trætte af den fantastiske udsigt. Huset er ikke stort, men har alt hvad man skal bruge - tiden benyttes alligevel udenfor. A/C var en gave, da vi ramte dage på over 40 grader. Beliggenheden er perfekt - afsides uden af være isoleret og kort køretur til masser af indkøbsmuligheder. Stedet tilbyder en perfekt feriemix af dovne-dage ved poolen og endagsture til Mijas, Malaga, Gibraltar og Benalmedena. Vi vender helt sikkert tilbage.

The villa is situated in a beautiful and peaceful location but the traditional Spanish town of Coin is nearby with its restaurants, cinema and shopping. There is a large terrace area with stunning views across the valley.
