Why they chose this property
Our house is located in the village Kringa, a small place in Central Istria. Kringa is a popular destination for tourists and has a lot of vacation houses for rent. There are not a lot of neighbors around Villa Coridigo. Those that are are local residents and other holiday houses. Villa Coridigo is not on the main road so there are not a lot of cars passing by the house.
A great advantage of coming to Kringa on a holiday is that you get to experience life in rural surroundings in the heart of Istria, but also, because of its location, whenever you want you can go and visit the coast, bigger places and towns around, and most of them are under 20 minutes of driving. In other words, you get the best of both worlds
There is a great Istrian RESTAURANT just 150 meters from the house offering traditional Istrian food like boškarin goulash, beefsteak with truffles, pasta with truffles, and other specialties.
A small GROCERY STORE is 1 kilometer away offering the essentials.
There are a lot of FAMILY FARMS around producing local products like prosciutto, wine, cheese, olive oil, milk, etc. For example, the PROSCIUTTO producer "Pršutarna Dujmović" is just 1 kilometer from the Villa.
If you are with the kids, we recommend visiting "ADRENALIN PARK", located 1 kilometer from the house. They have a zip line, swing, horseback riding, quad driving, a fast-food stand, and tables with chairs to sit. Also, pets are allowed in the park.
The FOOTBALL and BASKETBALL court is at a distance of 1 kilometer away.
