The classical , bright , corner apartment has a nice athmosphere , it is in the middle of dowtown, but still very quiet. It boasts high celings with stucco and original, restored , stain leaded glass sliding doors, new windows fitted with electric shutters, air-conditioning installed.
Plenty of cable channels and high speed internet with wifi offered.

Amazing apartment amazing location

We felt like locals, enjoying this fabulous apartment. Every morning we enjoyed coffee on the balcony, with views to the Basilica. Every evening was spent in one of the restaurants on the strip below. Budapest is a wonderful city and surprised us with its energy, architecture and atmosphere. Erika’s apartment is a perfect place to experience it.

Budapest Apartment

Very good location, an easy walk to the main tourist sites but still in a nice quiet location. The apartment was very comfortable but the 2nd bedroom was very small. The bathrooms are next to each other at the entry - one has a shower in the bath tub and the other a walk in shower. The kitchen was quite serviceable and we found it to be a very comfortable apartment to be in.

Perfectly positioned in the heart of Budapest

It was a joy to go out on the balcony and really feel you were in the heart of Budapest. We walked to all the Budapest landmarks from the Castle to Marguerite Island to the Gellert Baths and Citadelle. All the concerts, restaurants and shopping were nearby. The interior of the apartment was spacious and there was every convenience possible. We wanted for nothing.There was adequate towels and bedding and everything was spotlessly clean. We shared the apartment with our friends, another couple, and found the apartment living area was really spacious for 4 people and having two bathrooms was fantastic. However, the second bedroom is small. Although we were in the heart of Budapest restaurant night life, the apartment was generally quiet and having shutters and airconditioning was perfect. I would return in a heartbeat.

Great location and great host!

We loved Erika's apartment. it was very specious, clean and a lot of little things that you would need were available at the apartment. The location was perfect and the view from the main living room/main bedroom was great. The second bedroom was very tight but we had our young daughter sleep there so it worked great for us (might just be tight for another couple in that back room). In my opinion the check-in process was a bit cumbersome... it took a while for our host to meet with us at the apartment even though we texted her from the airport, as requested, and there were too many little rules how the door keys worked during check-out and such. But nevertheless she allowed us to check in early and we are thankful for that. I guess overall it just as not as easy as self check-in..... that is all. The architecture in this part of District Five if simply breathtaking and the best in the whole of Budapest and beyond (including anywhere in the Old Austrian Hungarian Region). The Apartment building is circa from 1895 Art Deco period and you survey all the best architecture from your private terrace, including the amazing Cathedral (Neo-classical Basilica and neo baroque style buildings). You can see the Danube River and part of Buda Castle hills from the balcony, making it the best location in all of Budapest.
