House that has it all, Hot Tub, Kayaks, Surf Boards, Snorkeling gear & more

Located in the Waimanalo Beach Lots, which is only 25 minutes from Honolulu and Waikiki. Waimanalo Beach is one of the largest, cleanest, and most private beaches on Oahu. This white sand beach is very safe (referring to the ocean/surf) so you can relax and not have to worry as your family enjoys the ocean. Get away from the hustle and bustle and escape to this #1 rated pristine beach.

Then enjoy everything this all-inclusive house has to offer. You will have everything at your fingertips to have a great time on the beach. Relax in the beach chairs or take the surfboards (2), kayaks (4), or boogie boards (4) out on the beach and catch some waves. If the water is flat use the snorkeling masks and fins (Quality equipment and enough for the whole group) to see what’s beneath the surface. For the more ambitious ones in the group discounts are available on scuba diving, dolphin and whale watching tours, and many other activities.

After your day’s activities relax on the covered porch and listen to the waves roll in. Make dinner in the full kitchen or throw some burgers on the gas grill. Large living area with TV and Cable(yes we still have cable). The dining table has seating for 8 and kitchen bar has seating for four. The kitchen has everything you will need. Dishwasher to help with the chores. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit so you can pack a little lighter.

The master bedroom has AC but you won't need it as the cool trade wind breeze blows in the sounds and smells of the ocean. 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds or push them together to make a king. The living room has 2 queen futons for additional guests.

Please turn off the ACs & lights. Biggest thing is to take out the trash. Any loads of laundry you can get done are greatly appreciated by the cleaning crew. Clean loads can be left on the futon.

The house was very beautiful and had everything our family needed for our stay. The location was perfect as well right near the beach which made it convenient for us to assess the beach as well without having to drive long! Location! Location! Location! The location makes this home. We absolutely loved walking to the beach for sunrise, sunset and all the times in between. House is in a nice quiet neighborhood, short walk to the beach which was never crowded, even on Easter weekend. Having all the beach toys at the house was super convenient. Mark set us up with a dolphin snorkeling tour which was amazing. Great place for a more low-key visit to Oahu.

Beach Lots stay

The property has a lot of potential and can be upgraded more. The shrubs are overgrown. The jacuzzi was nice to use. The dog poop can be picked up too. The owner was nice and took care of issues as they came up. It can be a pleasant stay if it was better maintained. We were there for a funeral so we needed convenience near my brother’s house.

Cozy, quiet neighborhood, fantastic beach nearby

Excellent place for a peaceful getaway. The beach is incredible, safe and fun for all ages, and never very crowded. The house is well stocked with amenities and we were able to grill up some excellent meals and clean our clothes. Not very big but lots of sleeping options if you are ok with sleeping in the living room too, the futons were very nice for options. Also, having boogie boards, chairs and all made the beach even more enjoyable. Along with the detailed and interesting welcome booklet, Mark has thought of pretty much everything you'll need to have a great vacation!

My wife and I traveled with our 5 and 3 year old kids. The house was adequate, but a bit dated. If the house had better furniture (couches and beds) it would help out a lot, but I would still recommend this property. The location is fantastic. The beach is a short walk, and it is amazing, and quiet. Having the toys to take to the beach seems like a minor deal, but it was a huge help. Overall, I would recommend this property, and I would stay there again.

Mark and Holly were very kind and helpful hosts. The beach at Waimanalo was perfect--beautiful, not crowded, great boogie boarding for amateurs like us, even caught more fish here than anywhere else. Used gear everyday. Overall location fantastic, too--close to Hanauma Bay and Kailua amenities. Slept with windows open, woke to roosters crowing. Fit our family of five beautifully. Only downside---leaving.

Great off-the-beaten-path location for a family

We had a fantastic time in Hawaii and this rental was a big part of making that happen. It was great being off the beaten path a bit but still able to get to the North Shore or western side of the island in less than an hour. Having a very beautiful and almost empty beach, at least during the week, just a 3-4 minute walk away was great! Our kids were at the beach daily, either before or after our island adventure for the day, and really enjoyed taking the boogie boards out into the 2-3 foot waves. The rental was well setup, had everything we needed. Mark and Holly were both very personable and accommodating. If we make it back we'll most certainly stay here again!

Family of 4 Paradise

This was an excellent property for our family of 4. You can have 4 more people with the 2 futons in the livingroom so lots of room. It was comfortable and homey. The available boogie boards, snorkel gear, surf boards, and kyaks were awesome. The location was excellent. The beautiful beach was just a short walk down the road and the hottub was an added bonus. The location of the property is only about a 20-30 min drive to downtown Waikiki and an hour to the North Shore. Keeps you out of the hussle and bussle of the city but close enough to zip over. The owner is super friendly, available if needed, and open to suggestions. We would definitely stay here again.

Was nice staying somewhere with all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay like we were at home. Mark answered any questions we had and left info i n a binder that was really helpful to find extra things to do. I will stay here again next time I come to Oahu! The owner of the property has 2 dogs that are both well behaved and helped us feel more at home since we didn't bring our dogs with. The home is within walking distance to the beach and the neighborhood felt safe. This is not a resort it is a home and we felt at home here. We grilled, cooked, kept groceries, and drinks, and snacks at the house saving us from having to eat or every meal or snack. Also has a nice deck area for grilling or hanging out. We enjoyed our stay!

Why they chose this property

I bought this house for a couple simple reasons LOCATION, Location, Location. Its just a very short walk from the nicest beach on the island (Rated Best Beach USA in 2015 (Forbes)). It has many other awards but we prefer to keep it "on the down low". I can't imagine ever selling this property.

What makes this property unique

As you will notice if you read my online guestbook, we make all of our toys available to our guests. I have a pile of boogie boards, 4 or more surfboards, 4 or more kayaks, and quality snorkeling gear for your whole group. I invite you to bring your children down to feed the Koi in the pond and am always available if you have any questions. Yes, this also includes the occasional call for directions should you happen to get lost or just have a question about the island.
