Stylish and modern living at 1,700 meters above 4 floors in the award-winning architect house "Schönes Wohnen" 1984.
Accommodation for summer and winter.
The kitchen was completely renewed in 2019 and brought up to the state of the art including all electronic devices.
All permanently installed lamps in the house were LED or Energy saving lamps changed.
Parking is also possible for cars with a roof box below the house.

Fantastic location and housin

This is a beautifully situated property with a fantastic view on the mountains. Excellent for starting hiking and climbing tours. Cosy, well equipped. Bedrooms are small, but not the beds, so its fine, except for those who require lots of space for sleeping. We really enjoyed our stay and certainly will come back for another vacations.

Mountain View and cosy, clean hause , but… this smell ..:(

It is nice designed , cosy Hause with beautiful Views all around , it was clean, but we are not happy with strange smell inside.. maybe before us there were guests, who smoked inside Hause.

Beautiful home with breathtaking views of the Dolomites

It is almost impossible to find a better location in the Dolomites than this property. You are walking distance to the Dolomites and Lago di Carezza. The many balconies and windows provide you with views in most parts of the home. The apartment is best for small groups of 6 or less. One of the two bedrooms was converted to become 2 smaller bedrooms with 2 bunk beds in each. There are 1.5 bathrooms, not two full bathrooms, in contrast to what is listed. Although the directions to the home are only in German, you can easily translate those directions into the language of your choice. We were charged 15 Euro per person to use bath towels and bed linens, which we found odd - it's like getting charged to use for a key to enter the the home - you would expect that bath towels are not "extras". Overall, this mountain home is perfectly located with beautiful views, which is best for small groups. You'll enoy your stay here.

Stunning house in an amazing location

Our family of four had a fantastic time in Karersee. This house surpassed our expectations, the architecture is incredible. There is a different view from every balcony and window, of which there are many. The kitchen has every gadget you could dream of and the main sitting areas are very comfortable and everything was clean. It feels like no expense has been spared. However the fact that linen and towels are not included was a disappointment for us. We had flown from the UK and our stay at this house was the last week of a month long adventure..we couldn’t bring our own linen. We therefore chose our only option to pay €15 per person for linens and towels and rent from the caretaker. Unfortunately these were cheap feeling which rather dampened our enjoyment of the house when we got into bed. The only other downside is that the electricity, oil and cleaner are payable in addition to the rental price. For such a beautiful house it might be a better idea to provide better linens and include the “extras” in the cost, even if it costs a bit more. We do this with our own holiday rental in Canada and guests seem to prefer it. Can’t fault the property in any way however, if you rent this house you will feel like you are enjoying all the mountain views when you are inside! We couldn’t get wifi but could use our mobile phone networks very well. Our teenager was upset, we were delighted!

Die Lage und der Ausblick sind genial, man kann direkt vom Haus aus wandern, auch runter zum Karersee. Wir mussten in den 5 Tagen kaum das Auto nutzen, nur zum Ausflug nach Bozen, was gut erreichbar ist. Das Haus ist speziell, für Architekturfreunde ein Genuss. Wir haben gut geschlafen, die Matrazen sind gut, vom Hochbett hat man morgens einen wunderbaren Ausblick. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir hatten 10 wundervolle Tage in dem Ferienhaus und allgemein einen tollen Urlaub. Die Lage ist perfekt, um Wanderungen direkt vor der Haustür zu starten (Karer See, Latemar, Steinlabyrinth, Paulinahütte, etc.) und die Aussicht ist dank der Vielzahl von Balkonen und Terrassen in alle Richtungen beeindruckend.Der angrenzende Bauernhof erzeugt mit seinen Pferden, Schafen und Kühen zusätzlich ein "natur pur" Gefühl und trotz der Nähe gab es zu keiner Zeit Geruchsbelästigungen.Auch die Ausstattung hat alles zu bieten was man braucht: Selbst in der Küche waren sämtliche Gewürze, Öle und haltbare Lebensmittel vorhanden. Lediglich das Geschirr haben wir auf den ersten Blick nicht gefunden, da es in einem Schrank lag, der als solcher nicht direkt zu erkennen war.Alle 6 Personen waren mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden, daher können wir das Ferienhaus in allen Belangen weiterempfehlen und würden es auch wieder buchen.

Traumhaft!

Unser Familienurlaub in dem großartigen Haus in welteinmaliger Lage war wundervoll. Viele Wanderwege sind direkt erreichbar. Es gibt drei Balkone, die einen traumhaften Rundumblick auf die Dolomiten bieten. Die Bibliothek im Haus war hilfreich (Wanderkarten/ -bücher) und lesenswert (Geschichte, Biografien, Romane...). Das Haus verfügt über SKY. Viele Tiere können von der Veranda aus beobachtet werden (Pferde, Esel, Schafe...). Die offenen ineinander übergehenden Stockwerke sind sensationell. Diese Architektenleistung in Kombination mit der Auswahl der Lage ist absolut bewundernswert. Sehr gern möchten wir dieses Haus ein weiteres Mal besuchen!

Bijzonder huis op een mooie locatie

Bijzonder architectonisch huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. Prachtige uitzichten vanaf de verschillende terassen. Goed schoon. Goed uitgangspunt voor veel wandelingen. Klein nadeel dat err weinig te spelen is voor de kinderen op het achterliggende grasveld.

Sehr schönes, angenehmes Domizil

Wir haben eine knappe Woche im Haus verbracht, mit zwei Teenagern und einem jüngeren Kind. Haus & Ausstattung großartig. Betreuung durch Kontaktperson unkompliziert. Einziger Hinweis: Google Maps findet es mit der Adressangabe "Crossa Roda 48, Karersee" & Welschnofen am besten.

Was für ein Haus, was für eine Lage

Es gibt nichts, absolut nichts zu meckern. Wahnsinnig tolles Objekt mit weltklasse Lage. Wir hatten jeden Abend einen perfekten Sonnenuntergang. Die Ausstattung ist unübertrefflich - außer es gibt noch einen Grill dazu :P aber das ist auch das Einzige was fehlte

Tolle Lage, tolles Haus

Toller Urlaub, Lage herausragend mit Blick auf Rosengarten, Latemar und Alpen. Ruhig gelegen. Tolle Wanderungen aller Art von Spaziergang bis Klettern. Einrichtung sehr gut. Leider waren Besteck und Geschirr vom Vormieter nicht richtig gereinigt. Hier und da wars etwas staubig. Hätten gerne vorab paar Infos erhalten. Im Haus gibts aber einen Ordner, in dem vieles Wissenswertes steht. Abrechnung von Strom und Öl fanden wir kompliziert. Kleinigkeiten, war ein super Urlaub.

Schön war‘s

Wir haben unseren 5-tägigen Urlaub hier sehr genossen. Schönes Haus mit toller Aussicht auf die Berge. Paulina Sessellift nur 10min zu Fuß entfernt. Großer offener Wohnraum, super ausgestattete Küche von allerlei Gewürzen, Öl, bis Mehl, Reis und Nudeln, und zahlreichen Küchenutensilien. Die Galerie ganz oben war ein gemütlicher Spielort für unsere größeren Kinder, für unsere kletterfreudige 5-Jährige bereitete es uns etwas Sorge - es wäre für uns entspannter gewesen hätte der Handlauf noch ein kinder sicheres Geländer drunter. Witziges Fensterdetail oben in den Stockbetten. Der Wohnbereich neben den Schlafzimmern bietet ebenfalls tolle Spielmöglichkeiten, mit Dartboard und Schubladen voller Brettspiele und Puzzles und Buntstiften. Das vier-stöckige Haus mit Balkonen rund um und verschiedenen Ebenen bereite für unsere Kinder (und uns) genug Spaß und sie kamen gerne nach langen Wanderungen und Ausflügen nach Hause. WLan funktionierte leider nicht. Bettwäsche und Handtücher auf Anfrage und Aufpreis erhältlich, wäre schöner wenn‘s inklusive wäre. Würde Schlüssel-Safe empfehlen um Check-in zu erleichtern. Danke für den entspannten und erlebnisreichen Urlaub !

Bettwäsche und Handtücher kann ich leider auch nicht gegen Aufpreis anbieten, da kein Dienstleister für die Wäsche vor Ort ist. Den Hinweis zum Schlüsseltresor werde ich schnellstmöglich umsetzen.

Tolles, sehr sauberes, Haus mit einer top ausgestatteten Küche. Die Lage für Wanderungen in den Rosengarten und Latemar geradezu perfekt. Zwei aufregende Touren konnten wir direkt vom Haus aus starten.

Tolles Haus in toller Lage mit traumhafter Aussicht

Wir habe eine knappe Woche mit unseren vier Kindern (7,12,14 und 17) in dem Haus verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die anfänglichen Bedenken, dass es zu Engpässen bei nur einer Toilette kommen könnte, haben sich zum Glück als grundlos erwiesen (im Bad gibt es auch ein Bidet). Die vielen Terrassen um das Haus sind herrlich, der Blick auf die Berge in jede Richtung ist phänomenal und die Küche ist eine Küche, in der man wirklich gerne kocht und die nicht nur mit Geräten, sondern auch mit Gewürzen, Spülmaschinentabs etc. top ausgestattet ist. Vielen Dank für einen tollen Urlaub!

Idealer Standort für Fuß

einzigartiges Haus, jetzt endlich auch mit WLAN. Abgesehen von der mitzubringenden Bettwäsche eignet sich das Haus perfekt als Standort, um zu Fuß und ohne Auto Bergurlaub zu machen.

Amazing house

It's the second time we stay and the house is always great. The kitchen has been renovated since we last stayed and it's great, there's everything you may need to cook. The location is very convenient for skiing and the views are amazing. The only minor hassle is having to bring all bedding and towels.
