Sundial B201 - Stunning Condo on Sanibel Beach - Steps to the Sand!

Enjoy paradise on beautiful Sanibel Island! This charming second floor condo boasts magnificent beach and gulf views and is just a few steps to the beach and less to our pool. This condo is an A1 club suite in Sundial West, the largest one-bedroom condo at the popular Sundial Resort. It is conveniently located at the beginning of building B next to the stairs. This condo has been totally rebuilt and renovated post Ian Hurricane. The kitchen comes complete with all the cooking supplies you will ever need. The condo comes furnished with a king size master bed, new queen size memory foam sofa bed, washing machine and dryer (in the unit), Xfinity Gigabit internet service with lighting fast speeds, tile shower, a 55" Smart TV in the living room, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, bath towels, kitchen towels, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and washing machine soap. You will enjoy the newly appointed lanai as you watch and listen to the waves and spot dolphin playing in the water. Our world class Sundial Beach Resort and Spa offers numerous restaurants and a lively Cabana bar open to the public. The Resort was awarded the 2023 Travelers' Choice Winner by Trip Advisor. The Resort offers a Daycation Pass for a nominal fee (vouchers for food are included in the fee). The pass can be purchased at the Rec desk next to the Resort pool and it allows you to use all of their amenities e.g. bicycles, kayaks, loungers, pickle ball, etc. For a quieter pool experience, our pool has been completely renovated with new bath facilities, shower, and beach loungers. Total relaxation in a first class place.

We reviewed many properties on VRBO and chose this one not only for the ocean view but for the beautiful, tasteful decor. It did not disappoint and was enjoyed especially due to the 2 1/2 days of rain we had. Truly a comfortable place to stay, from the wonderful cozy king size bed to the upgrades in the kitchen and the privacy blinds. Truly first class all the way. We would love to stay again. 🏖Beautiful Rental !!🌺

We had a wonderful time staying here. The unit is exactly as described, even better. Nice high end furnishings, great mattresses, little details you won’t find anywhere else. Our family of four was very comfortable for the week we visited. Our only complaint was the pool. It is too small for the amount of buildings that use it. It was always very crowded .

Attention to detail was awesome, no "shells" were left un-turned. We would def. hope to return to B201 for another visit. The washer/dryer was a huge plus ... able to keep up on clothes thru the week, nice to come home and just put away clean stuff and get back to reality. Thanks for everything !!

Fantastic experience of Sanibel

Staying at this condo reminded us of everything we love about San-Cap. There were tons of thoughtful details about this place that made it possible to not worry about too much, as one should on a relaxing island. You have access to a pool, a couple minute walk to the sandy Gulf, and a great view. Exactly as advertised and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend. We also had two small children 4 and 6, the pullout sofa seemed more comfortable than most. Perfect for a family of 4.

Literally the best VRBO I have ever been to. Every single possible amenity you could imagine was there from all the beach equipment to coffee and creamer. Unit was only steps from the beach super clean, within unit washer and dryer. Hose was super responsive. Minutes from a grocery store, right on the beach with super good shelling.Property had grills, a pool, beach chairs, a wagon to bring all your beach stuff down screened in porch, beach towels. People are super friendly in the community. Super close to all the stores and the Shell museum annd art galleries.10/10 we’ll never stay anywhere else on Sanibel

Great location and unit

Condo was everything that was advertised and more. The unit was very nice and upgraded. Perfect for a couple or small family. The master bed was very comfortable and both the bed and couch are very nice and much better then typical rentals. Pool and beach are a few steps away and easy to haul the beach toys. No boardwalk so it’s easy to get all the toys and kid to the beach. Unit had everything to cook and plenty of toys for the young boy and a nice blowup bed that he loved. Never had a need to contact the owners easy to get in and all the information was available. Did walk over to the resort bar one day but typically just enjoyed the pool and beach. Great stay for the week. Would love to rent it again in future

Perfection on Sanibel

This condo owned by Jennifer and Rob is first class. It is beautifully decorated and has anything you will need for a perfect vacation. The condo is stocked with so many things that you normally wouldn’t find in a condo such as beach supplies (including chairs, umbrella, cooler, toys, shell gathering supplies and more). The kitchen comes fully stocked with any appliance you would need. There was also coffee, creamer, misc cooking ingredients- salt, pepper, oil, tin foil, ziplock bags) and so much more. The condo also came supplied with washer/dryer and detergent for the week. And as if that wasn’t enough, the condo is the perfect location from the pool and beach. We have travelled to many places and have stayed on Sanibel many times too. This was our favorite VRBO we have ever stayed in. Perfection! Thank you Jennifer and Rob.

Perfection!

It is clear that Rob and Jennifer know how to do a rental. The photos are exactly what you will see when you walk through the door and the little details and thoughtful touches are what really make this rental a stand-out. When flying to a beach vacation, you cannot take all of your typical beach items (chairs, towels, etc.), but Rob and Jennifer had everything we needed and more! Plenty of chairs, beach towels, toys, floats, and even a sea shell bag and scooper to go shell hunting. Inside is no different with plenty of games, flash lights for nighttime beach walks, and even binoculars that we used a few times to spy on the boats out at sea. Communication was great. When one of the umbrellas broke, Rob found us on the beach and replaced it within the day and Jennifer was so kind as I texted her late in the evening when we had trouble getting the code to work for the door. We had so much fun and fell in love with Sanibel/Captiva and plan to return. When we do, we will definitely stay at one of Rob and Jennifer's properties!

Thank you for checking out our properties on VRBO!!! We have a large 1 bedroom and a smaller 1 bedroom condo (all within a stone's throw of each other) at Sundial Resort on beautiful Sanibel Island. Their property listings can be found on VRBO.com. We both have lived in central Indiana all our lives. We met at Ball State University in 1975 and have been married for 42 years. Rob is is a retired C.P.A. of a 4th generation family practice. We have 3 children and 4 beautiful grandchildren! We look forward to sharing our two condos with our children and grandchildren (as well as you) for years to come.

Why they chose this property

After searching much of the Gulf Coast for a winter home, we fell in love with Sanibel after visiting high school friends who also have property within Sundial Resort. We had certain criteria that we were searching for in a property e.g. on the beach, washer/dryer, less than an hr. from a major airport, far enough south to "hopefully" have a warm winter, bicycle and walking paths, and great restaurants and shopping. Sanibel met all of those needs for us!
