We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great accomodations, wonderful view every morning! Good location to all of Pagosa restaurants and surrounding areas of southern Colorado. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and we slept comfortably at night.

Great location BEAUTIFUL VIEW!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Pagosa at this condo. Hands down the view is spectacular!! We loved watching the sunrise each morning from the living room facing the lake and mountains. The space and furniture is very comfortable and accommodated us well. Another huge plus was how quiet it was. We'd definitely stay again.

Not as described. No wood burner which we looked forward to. Very dated & dirty. Needs a good deep cleaning & various items repaired. Note on fridge to raise door to shut it. Lumpy & uncomfortable king bed. Never received instructions on entry/ guidelines until after we arrived & it was confusing. Spokes missed from stairs will small nails sticking out in which I got poked as well as other things. Stained blankets.

Pagosa Springs VRBO Stay

All good. One thing which you have probably corrected…VRBO gave us the wrong access code! Luckily the property manager answered her phone right away and she had the right number. Also she only had one key and we locked ourselves out and had to call the fire dept to let us in! She probabay has more keys now!

Nice but needs improvements

Our vacation was nice view is beautiful , but needs some upgrades with the appliances, carpets, and bathroom The master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced our backs were hurting the first night.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: "I'm sorry to hear the bed was not comfortable for you - we actually just replaced the main bedroom king mattress with an upper-end product about one year ago and we have had many compliments on it from other customers (and we enjoy it ourselves) - so it must just be a matter of personal preference. This is the first and only time anyone has complained about it since we replaced it. As for the appliances, some are brand new while others are older, but everything is functional and fits in with the style of the condo, as does the carpet. Our clientele isn't generally looking for the very latest cutting edge appliances and interior design, but are looking for a quaint, cozy place with amazing views and a very convenient location; not to mention at an extremely reasonable rate relative to most other places in Colorado." Convenient to hiking trails!

This place was comfortable and had everything we needed for a two week stay. We appreciated the a/c upstairs, as we had a few hot days during our stay. Downstairs bedrooms were always cool. Comfortable king bed in master. Nice view from front of unit. Were visited by deer several times. Very convenient to a variety of nice hiking trails right up the road. Recommend Piedra River Trail! Floors in kitchen and bathrooms could use a deep cleaning, esp baseboards.

Unclear listing

The listing wasn't clear on one detail - - the fact that this was a two-story property. Fortunately, I'm fit enough to negotiate stairs, but I do, from time to time, travel with people who have great difficulty with stairs. This detail should be more clearly stated in your listings.

Cozy & convenient

The check in process was super easy. Parking is directly in front of the front door so you can always keep an eye on your stuff. The floorplan of the unit is odd – but only if I was living there! For a short stay, this is perfect. The bed was comfortable, the unit was clean, there were plenty of essentials provided, and clear instructions for departure. We were close to all things to do in Pagosa yet not in the center of town. The only recommendation I have…if there is access to fish the small lake across from the unit, that should be mentioned so guests are aware. We were told by other people at the complex that fishing was OK yet we never heard back from the host so wasn’t sure. There was no mention of it anywhere in the instructions or description so clarification would be nice in the future. Otherwise, we come out at least twice per summer, and we will definitely be staying here again.

Great potential

Pros: Location with beautiful views and close to many things. Quiet neighbors and nice neighborhood. Easy parking right next to entrance. Pretty new flooring. Comfortable furniture and bed. Room-darkening drapes in bedrooms. Appliances work well. Cons: Needs thorough deep cleaning and maintenance, inside and out: heavy dust and cobwebs; grimy walls; gritty floors; crumbs and debris on and under furniture; mold/hair in bathrooms; etc. Several broken blinds/screens and all extremely dirty. Kitchen faucet handle installed backwards so very difficult to adjust temperature. Some buttons on TV remote don’t work so hard to change channel. AC wall unit freezes up and doesn’t cool well in weather over 85 degrees. Summary: If you’re going to be here a couple nights and don’t mind some dirt, this place will work. If you plan to be in Pagosa longer and can afford the added fees, you may be happier staying elsewhere. With attention to cleaning and maintenance, this could be a first-class rental. We decided to book this property and pay higher fees based on past positive experience with this property management company, but in the future will rely instead on careful reading of guest reviews.

From the Owner: -The few cobwebs we get were removed by the cleaner prior to arrival by the cleaner. The cleaner also did a thorough deep clean after the renter's stay. - The TV remote just needed new batteries which is why it was hard to change the channels. - The window unit AC is not meant to cool the entire condo for weeks and is rarely needed in Pagosa Springs. -The kitchen sink handle is installed correctly. - Brand NEW window shades and blinds were installed on ALL windows in early August, just after their stay.

Excellent vacation!

This was a great place to stay during our Colorado vacation. The property had everything we needed. It was close to shopping, attractions, restaurants, and still felt like it was out of town. We loved driving through the neighborhood looking for mule deer that are everywhere! We really enjoyed our stay!
