An honest review - PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK
To anyone considering renting this place there were several things here that bothered me. Please remember that I had a family of 6 staying at this VRBO for 8 nights if you are 2 or 4 for 2 or 3 days these may not be issues.
1. I was given 8 towels for 6 people for 8 days. So I had to buy laundry soap to wash towels. Now, the dryer did not work so I had to air dry the towels.
2. No extra TP or Paper towels were given so I had to buy.
3. There was no dishwasher as advertised so we had to hand wash dishes but there was no towels to dry them with.
4. Kitchen is under stocked, no pancake turner, no bowels to mix things, not enough silverware, there was only 6 forks, 6 knifes and 6 spoons. Not an issue if you are just eating, but I use them to cook, because the kitchen was under-stocked so before all my meals I had to wash utensils between cooking and eating.
5. Garbage bags, you have to sign something that says if you don't take garbage out everyday you will be fined $20 but they don't leave you with any garbage bags so you have to purchase your own.
6. No hot water in kitchen so you have to boil water to get dishes clean.
7. Hot-water for shower you get no more than 30 seconds of hot water. There is a continuous heater in the place but it shuts off after 30 seconds. 8 days of cold showers not fun.
8. The place has a Jacuzzi, but it doesn't get hot. I asked the property manager to come look at it and he said there the Jacuzzi don't get hot. So if you are expecting your Jacuzzi to be at 102 degrees, you are going to be wrong it only got to about 90 degrees.
8. The master bedroom has no dresser or any thing to elevate your cloths on so you have to live out of your suitcase on the floor.
9. The loft and upper deck do not lock. The owner said its secure however the building has bars on every window but the windows in this Apartment. If its so safe why are there bars on all of the windows?
10. I had to sign a paper that says I cannot have more than 4 people in the place at night. But I booked the place for 6.
11. Watch your dishes, when I got there the plates were greasy and there was food on forks. I believe this is a product of no hot water.
12. Be prepared to spend 30 min checking in.
I addressed these issues with the owner and all he said was look at my reviews on another website. He didn't care that our experience wasn't good. This is an honest review now you know what you are getting into.
