Beautiful villa in Village des Pins, located in hearth of Sarasota, just minutes from Siesta Key Beach – voted repeatedly the best in the U.S., close to shopping and many public Golf courses. This spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa with 1 car garage features nicely tiled floors, granite counters in the kitchen and both Bath, modern furniture and décor and stainless steel appliances.
Living room entertainment center features a 51” flat screen Plasma TV with cable, DVD and stereo music system with iPod dock. Both bedrooms have LCD flat screen TVs and DVD players. A screened-in lanai is accessible from both the living room and master BR, offering privacy and view of palm trees and greenery.
Park like setting complex with two lakes offers first-class amenities : large swimming pool, comfortable, recently-renovated deck with new outdoor furniture and a Jacuzzi for relaxations!. Picnic area with grills is just by the pool and Club house. Two lighted tennis courts, shuffleboard and putting green is also conveniently located in the complex.
Village Des Pins is also very close to Westfield Sarasota Square Mall with over 140 stores and a cinema, Grocery store as well as many other stores, restaurants, Downtown with galleries and museum.

Like Being at Home

Staying here was like being in my own home. If I can avoid it, I will not stay in another hotel during my vacation again. Being able to wake up and make ourselves a pot of our own coffee and then enjoy it in the covered lanai, is something you don’t experience in a hotel.This home had everything we would need for a week long stay and more. It’s proximity to shopping and beaches made it ideal. We felt safe and secure AND comfortable. If I could change one thing, I would change the directions on how to get to the dumpster to dispose of our trash. If I had followed them exactly as written, I would have had to walk through someone else’s property. I recommend a map of the development with the location of the dumpster clearly marked. Otherwise, our vacation was stress free and enjoyable and we’re anxious to schedule our next trip to Sarasota.

Great Location and Neighborhood

This was the perfect rental for us. We were in Sarasota for a memorial service and family reunion. Our relatives live 12 minutes away at Village Walk and Siesta Key beach was about the same distance away as well. Our other relatives stayed in another unit in this same neighborhood and it was great to be able to walk between houses. All kinds of restaurants and stores are close by. The neighborhood was very quiet, well-kept and people were friendly. The pool was delightful. This unit was nicely furnished and clean. We had a couple minor inconveniences. The vertical blinds in the master are old and a couple duct-taped pieces broke off. The coffee maker could stand to be upgraded (Mr. Coffee carafe broke while gently handwashing it), and the kitchen faucet does not swivel from side to side. We would definitely consider staying here again, hoping those minor items are fixed.

Dependable property in nice setting

We live at Palmer Square West next door to this property and when family visits exceed the space we have we rent a condo in this community. Every one that we have rented has been very comfortable. The community is beautifully landscaped with a large and well kept pool as well as tennis courts.

We didn't miss the snow and cold weather up north. 70s and 80s most days, with sun shine on 12 of 14 days. Nice heated pool and separate hot tub and very nice villla to come back to each night. Short drive to Siesta Key beach.

Renter Beware

The condo itself was lovely and my family has enjoyed staying here for the past few years. However, we will not return. This is the second time we have stayed and the pool heater was broken!! The pool was freezing. We had to leave 3 days early as a result. The listing advertises a heated pool and it was not the case.

Hello, I am the property manager for this villa and would like to respond to the last review. The community pool pump unfortunately broke and since it is a commercial pool, the pump had to be ordered from out of state, so it took few days to get it and to install it. The guests, owners and managers were very unhappy, but except of complaints and requests to HOA management to speed up the repair process, there was not much we could do about it. Good news is the pool pump is now new and working fine. Sarah and her husband communicated their unhappiness to us and we agreed to terminate their lease 3 nights early and credited them $ 300. We hope the new pump will keep the pool in order for next couple of years! Best regards, Monika

We really enjoyed our stay at this spacious, well maintained villa. The location is great, bring close to stores and restaurants and 15 min to Siesta Key beach. We also really enjoyed the area pool which had nice warm water. The surroundings are also beautiful. The villa was clean and well equipped although the beach equipment is showing some wear. We would love to return.
