Local markets and shopping The island’s buzzing capital, Zante Town, has great shopping opportunities, with a broad range of shops stocking jewellery, clothes and gifts. Alternatively, head to Tsilivi. The resort has a great selection of souvenir shops to peruse along its main street and winding side lanes. There are also many mini markets and a supermarket for stocking up on holiday essentials. Bars and restaurants There are a few nearby tavernas on the seafront a few minutes’ drive from the villa. For a wider selection, try the restaurants in the thriving Tsilivi resort. Traditional eateries sit alongside international restaurants offering an array of cuisines, including Chinese, Italian and Greek. Choose to dine on the main street or enjoy a gentler pace at a seafront restaurant with a view. Come evening, plenty of local bars stay open well into the night. One side of the pool has a Perspex surround, allowing glimpses of the sea and a pretty decorative white stone area. Entrance Access the villa via a gated driveway that leads up to the property. There is plenty of parking space for your hire cars in front of the villa. 5 marble steps lead up from the paved driveway to a covered entrance. 2 further steps up lead to the front door. Living space On the ground floor you’ll find a spacious open plan living and dining area with striking monochrome decor, marble floors and a feature fireplace. Comfortable leather sofas sit in a sunken area, 2 steps down. Adjacent is a black gloss piano beside a glass dining table that comfortably seats 10 people. There is also a bar area where you can practice your mixing skills. Large picture windows and patio doors which spread across 3 sides of the space showcase the magnificent views. The patio doors lead out onto a covered wraparound terrace with spectacular views over the Ionian sea. There is also an alfresco dining table and chairs here. The first floor has an additional living area. Here you can enjoy panoramic views of the sea and surrounding countryside from the stylish semi-circular sofa. Sliding doors lead out to covered balcony. Kitchen The grand kitchen has wooden cabinets and is fully equipped for your holiday needs. There is a central island which adds extra work surface and a smaller dining area at one end. An external door leads out to the covered terrace and around to the BBQ area.
