Beautiful cottage "Creole House" of Villa Caribbean Dream

The “Creole House" of our guesthouse "Villa Caribbean Dream" is located in the still undiscovered south of St.Lucia, with a view of the wide open Caribbean Sea.
Here you will find the Caribbean as you imagine it to be. Secluded beaches, clear blue water, opportunities to do watersports (especially kitesurfing and windsurfing), hiking, horseback riding, climbing the famous piton mountains and simply pure relaxation! We offer assistance with booking tours.

On weekends and holidays there are road BBQ’s everywhere in and around Vieux Fort, serving delicious chicken, fish and pork. Afterwards, you can have some fun in in the local bars and clubs into the early morning.

Our in an open Caribbean architecture built 1-bedroom "Creole House" is fully furnished and self-contained . It is surrounded by plants and flowers in the beautiful garden of our guesthouse. This cottage, like the entire property, delightfully overlooks Vieux Fort. With stunning views and a privat setting it is especially recommended, in particular for Honeymooners. It is furnished with a queen size bed, a wardrobe, little kitchenette with fridge and all kitchen appliances as well as a private bathroom. The large veranda with loungers, outside furniture, hammok and lots of plants lets you relax in comfort.

We offer peace, seclusion and a breath-taking view from the veranda of the “Creole House” as well as the sun terrace of our main house. Since St. Lucia's best wind- and kitesurfing spot is only a 7 min. drive away, we are frequented in particular by kite- and windsurfers. But we also like to welcome nature travelers and people who would like to get to know the local life on this beautiful tropical island.

From Vieux-Fort you have good access to all local buses to Castries and Soufriere. The town is a 15 minutes walk away.
Ideal would be a rental car, but it is not a necessity.

The "Creole House" at Villa Caribbean Dream is a 8 minutes drive from the international airport (UVF) Hewanorra in Vieux-Fort and 1 hr drive from the small regional airport in the north (SLU)

As a former tour representative I am very knowledgeable about what to do on the island. Also I live in St.Lucia since 45 years and I am well aquainted with people and can recommend places to go or things to do.

Cute, quaint getaway.

The owner was very helpful. She was able to connect us with whatever we wanted. Breakfast was excellent. If you don’t mind the heat and a few critters, it’s a perfect experience.

Wonderful host, really helpful

We recently stayed for three nights, Brigitte helped us with all things like pick up from the airport, arranging car hire, and arranging more accommodation when we needed to go up north, all at reasonable prices and with trusted suppliers. We opted for breakfast in the morning, which was sumptuous and we ate enough different fruits, cheeses, and other local fair to last us for the day! We highly recommend staying.

Creole Cottage above the sea

The garden landscape is lovingly tended and views of the sea are hypnotizing, especially at sunset. There are rare traffic sounds, only the sounds of nature. Brigitte is attentive and responsive to every need. We loved staying in the cottage and I'm sure staying in the Villa would be equally delightful.

Nice spot to stay. Useful because near the airport (few fly) so not noisy. Quiet in a very nice garden with seaview. Welcome of Brigitte's welcome is great. Always there to help or advice you. Plentiful and good breakfast. Make sure to have a car. Joli endroit pour séjourner. Pratique car prés de aéroport (peu de vol) donc pas bruyant. Au calme dans un joli jardin avec vue sur la mer. Accueil de Brigitte formidable, toujours la pour nous conseiller / aider. Petit déjeuner copieux et bons. Prévoir une voiture

Hi, I am Brigitte, a German national from Berlin and came to St.Lucia in 1978. I instantly fell in love with this beautiful island and live here since then. I started my guesthouse business in 1991 and still successfully running it together with my housekeeper Noelita and gardener Louis up to today. I am a quite knowledgable host, have been working in the tourism industry in various hotels, as a representative for German tour operators and the German airline CONDOR. We welcome tourists from all over the world at “Villa Caribbean Dream”.

Why they chose this property

We have built our guesthouse "Villa Caribbean Dream" in 1991 and the cottage "Creole House" in 2002. From the beginning we were fascinated about the beautiful area of Moule-a-chique, a hill overlooking the town of Vieux-Fort.
From the top of this hill with the second highest light house in the world which overlooks the Caribbean sea, you have a fantastic view of the whole south of the island. Our guests like to hike up to this area from our house in the mornings or late afternoons to make pictures and enjoy the stunning views.
