This charming and authentic Mexican casa is located just ½ block from the beach in the heart of Bucerías — a warm and welcoming town only 20 minutes from Puerto Vallarta and the PVR airport. Bucerías offers incredible dining, including Mexican, Italian, French, seafood, American, and Asian cuisine. If you love food, you will not be disappointed!
Relax on the beautiful Bay of Banderas, play in the ocean, or enjoy the unforgettable sunsets. Bucerías has wonderful beaches, taco stands, art galleries, artisan markets, yoga studios, and live mariachi — the perfect blend of culture, charm, and coastal beauty.
About Casa Tiki
Casa Tiki is a newer-construction home just ½ block (50+ metres) from the ocean, offering partial ocean views and refreshing breezes from the second-floor palapas.
The home is filled with authentic Mexican charm — warm terracotta floors, stucco walls, a fully tiled Mexican kitchen, and colorful tiled bathrooms. Outside, you can relax in your private pool, enjoy the loungers, or dine poolside in the shaded seating area.
Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 6):
Primary Bedroom: King bed + ensuite 3-piece bathroom
Guest Bedroom: 1 queen + 2 singles (can be converted into a king) + ensuite 3-piece bathroom
Living Room: Pullout couch
Second Floor: Additional 3-piece bathroom

Second-Level Daybed: A cozy daybed under the palapa for reading, resting, or listening to the waves.

We’re a Canadian family with roots in both Alberta and Ontario, and a big part of our heart now belongs to Mexico.
We first started traveling to Mexico in 2014, and it didn’t take long for us to completely fall in love with the area—its people, its culture, the food, the beaches, and the warmth that makes every day feel special.
Before we knew it, Mexico became more than a vacation spot… it became home.
Our journey as hosts began with Casa Tiki. At first, we rented it out while traveling back and forth, but over time we realized that this is where we truly wanted to be. We now live elsewhere in the area and live in Mexico full-time, though we still make regular trips back to Canada to stay close to family.
Hosting has always come naturally to me. I genuinely love making people happy, creating a welcoming space, and ensuring guests feel cared for from the moment they arrive. My hope is that everyone who stays with us has an amazing experience—one that stays in their heart and makes them want to return again. We want our guests to fall in love with Mexico the same way we did.
