This renovated cottage is located in Pieve a Elici (Massarosa) with a breathtaking view of the lake and the sea. The property owns an olive grove and garden of 4000 m². On the ground floor you will find the living room with open fireplace and TV/DVD, a well-equipped kitchen, a covered veranda with large dining table and pizza oven, and 1 studio with two beds and the guest bathroom. Three steps down to a laundry room/storage. On the first floor you will find 2 bedrooms with king-size bed, TV and their own shower bath, both with sea view.
The top floor is a spacious suite with open fireplace, TV, king-size bed and a davenport. The bathroom offers shower and tub. Here you can set up a crib or cot.
20 m from the house you find the Infinitiy-pool (16 m x 4 m) with shower and a pergola with a large dining table, loungers and sun umbrellas.
A poolhouse (Aircondition)with double bed and showerbath can be rented in adition (charge 700 € per week in high season) The kitchen with fridge and coffee machine, a toilet and a outdoor-kitchen with gas barbecue is at your disposal.

Perfect for an extended family get away.

Visited Florence, Pisa, Luca, Viraggio, and Colloddi, which were all interesting in their own different ways, but it was always nice to get back to "Top Cottage" where we could relax around the pool and admire the surrounding views. The house was extremely comfortable, well equipped with plenty of space - we didn't want to come back home! This family trip was to celebrate my 70th birthday with our 2 sons, 1 daughter-in-law, 2 grandchildren and 1 dog and we all fell in love with the place. The children particularly liked the pool and watching the "fire flies" at night - magical! Thank you so much Marie-Lou for letting us use your beautiful cottage.

Myself, my partner and our whippet had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Everything was catered for, so well stocked with everything you could possibly need and spotlessly clean. The garden is completely secure and our dog was in heaven! Cesarina is the property manager and is always available and nothing is too much trouble, not that we needed anything! The pool is beautiful, the best views from every window and you are surrounded by olive trees and the most friendly neighbours. We have already booked to go back!

Relaxed despite stormy weather

We stayed in the villa with friends for a week and really enjoyed it. The view was phenomenal. You can relax very well at the great infinity pool - just like “la dolce vita”. But unfortunately we weren't able to use it much due to the weather. Everything you need was available in the villa just as described. The region around Lucca or Pisa can be reached quickly by car and invites you to linger. We would come again, but probably rather in spring or summer. My dream vacation!!

Thank you sharing your beautiful Villa Serena with us this past month! We and our friends and family had a wonderful time! We loved the villa and the pool with its stunning views and landscaping, and Cesarina and her sister, Sara, were delightful, efficient and very helpful. In addition to enjoying the Villa and pool, we took many fun day trips to Lucca, Siena, Viareggio, Pisa, Florence, Volterra, Barga and Pietrasanta and visited more than a few wineries! Fantastic stay in stunning location

We had the most fantastic stay in this gorgeous property! The views from the pool are so amazing, & sunsets simply spectacular. It was hard to leave each day. The photos don't show how well designed, decorated & comfortable all the spaces are, the Master suite (top floor) is incredibly spacious & lovely. The other bedrooms were big & great, the indoor& outdoor kitchens are both excellent comfortable spaces, bathrooms are large and updated! We had one brief electrical outage incident but it was handled immediately by the home's caretaker Cesarina (a super sweet/kind and helpful person) and the owners: Bernard and Mary-Luise-such helpful & lovely people. I have stayed in a lot of VRBO properties and this one is truly one of the the most spectacular homes/locations! Mary-Luise made reservations for us and accommodated all of our questions & requests very quickly and thoroughly. We had a special Birthday/Anniversary dinner at a nearby restaurant called La Dogana-simply wonderful!! Outdoor setting, great service & food. Highly recommend it. Everything about our stay was seamlesss and smooth and we also had great weather. Each morning, we had coffee out in the yard overlooking the lakes/sea and later, the big kids played soccer & other games on the big grassy area above the pool. The little pool house w/fridge, towels, bathroom, floats etc was a big bonus!! Really cannot recommend this property in Tuscany area enough-drivable to lots of other places: Viareggio, Forte de Marmi, Pisa-& not too far from Cinque Terre etc... Really a Top 10 Vacation spot in every way! Thanks Villa Serena!

Perfektes Landhaus

Wunderschöner Urlaub im perfekten Landhaus in super Lage. Das Haus und der Pool sind super gepflegt und alles in bestem Zustand. Die Ausstattung des Hauses lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Das Haus liegt in den Hügeln von Massarosa mit wundervollem Blick über die Seenlandschaft und zum Meer. Vor Ort betreut eine Sehr nette Dame das Anwesen und ist für fragen sehr gut erreichbar. Die Vermieterin ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich und antwortet sehr schnell auf alle Fragen. Sehr empfehlenswert. Herzlichen Dank, wir werden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Tolles Haus.Super Urlaub

Wir waren fünf Erwachsene und 2 Kinder und ein Hund. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Die liebevolle Ceserina hat sich um Alles gekümmert, wenn man was gebraucht hat.Die Zufahrt mit unserem Van war etwas anstrengend, aber das waren wir als geübte Toskanerurlauber gewöhnt. Wir hatten das Poolhaus noch dazugemietet. Dies dürfte ich bewohnen, Modernes sehr gut ausgestattetes Zimmer mit schönem Bad, kleiner Küche, Klimaanlage und einem TOP Bett. Auch der Pool war sehr schön groß und wurde regelmäßig gereinigt. Insgesamt 5 Sterne. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Oase in Massarosa

Wir, 2 Familien (4 Kinder, 4 Erwachsene mit 2 Hunden) haben unsere gemeinsame Woche Urlaub in der Toscana sehr genossen! Genauso wie beschrieben. Das Haus ist äussertst stimmig ums mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, Garten und Pool sind kaum zu toppen und Ceserina sowie auch die Gastgeber selbst, äusserst zuvorkommend und jederzeit hilfsbereit und offen für unsere Fragen und Anliegen. Insbesondere haben uns in die Küche verliebt, sie lädt zum verweilen ein und ist (wie das ganze Anwesen) sehr gut ausgestattet. Dieses Haus ist ein Ort um „die Seele baumeln zu lassen“, es findet sich für jeden Geschmack und jede Altersklasse jederzeit eine Rückzugsmöglichkeit. Herzlichen Dank, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und nehmen eine wundervolle Erinnerung mit!

The view, the pool and the heavenly house

This is an amazing place to stay - gorgeous house with lots of space and so well equipped - we had more than we needed. The hosts were very welcoming and the caretaker was always available to assist us with questions. The gardens are gorgeous only beat out by the infinity pool overlooking the sea in the distance. The only challenge is the windy road leading up to the house and you definitely need to have a car. However it was a week in heaven for 8 of us!

Toller Urlaub in wunderschönem Ferienhaus

Wir (2 Familien mit jeweils 2 Kindern) haben unseren einwöchigen Aufenthalt Anfang September 2022 sehr genossen. Das Ferienhaus hat uns ausgezeichnet gefallen und ist perfekt ausgestattet. Der große Pool, der weitläufige Garten und die tolle Aussicht sind fantastisch. Wir hatten einen fabelhaften Urlaub und kommen gerne wieder!

Hate to Leave

This is an amazing property. While the location is a bit up the hill from major roads it’s worth it for the view. The house was the best equipped house we have ever rented. Cesarina, the local manager was extremely helpful and available. All beds were comfortable and bedrooms beautiful. Kitchen extremely well equipped for the casual cook or the gourmet. We spent most of our time in the yard and by the amazing pool. Couldn’t get enough of the view. It is worth renting the little pool house as well for those long days in the water. We got out most days for easy trips to lucca, Pisa, Forte dei Marmi and a longer day in Florence. A lovely dinner in Pietrasanta (such a pretty little town) and shopped for groceries at Conad in Massarosa. The perfect holiday. Thank you for sharing your home.

Wir waren mit 2 Familien ( Kinder zwischen 4 und 18 Jahren) und Hund im wunderschönen Haus . Das Haus ist liebevoll und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und immer ansprechbar. Ein sehr großer Garten mit einem traumhaften Pool und grandiosem Blick macht es noch perfekter. Wir kommen so gerne wieder!

Gorgeous Villa

The villa is gorgeous and has such a great view that you don't ever want to leave! This was the biggest problem during our stay. The pool is private, set apart from the house, and the view is also very dramatic. It was such a lovely and relaxed atmosphere, and close to Lucca and Pietrasanta (our fav). It's definitely a drive to get up to the house, but worth it for the view and privacy. The enormous master bedroom was a real treat. And the house is beautifully decorated with a ton of great art. You could actually walk around like in a gallery on each floor. We highly recommend and would stay again.
