We had a wonderful stay at the Overlander. The carriage was amazing and Rita was an outstanding host. She was kind enough to share her family collections with us, which we enjoyed tremendously. Her husband even showed us around their property, explaining the about animals and crops. We would definitely stay there again
Something a bit different. Where else can you spend the night on a railway carriage. A lovely garden setting in a quiet and peaceful location.
The owner was very friendly and helpful and supplied a lovely breakfast. We would stay here again.
What a joy to stay in the Overlander! Located on a working farm but surrounded by rural serenity. We had lovely walks around the farm, enjoying all the native birds and the farm animals. Rita and her family were amazing hosts, the carriage had everything we needed and the breakfast provisions were generous. Beds, bedding and towels were comfortable and luxurious. Bathrooms were original to the carriage but upgraded and the water pressure was wonderful. We loved watching the sunsets every night, sitting around the fire pit which was stocked and lit every evening.
