Our brand new luxury 2 bed/2 bath home has everything you need to relax and unwind in this rugged location on the Wild West Coast of Vancouver Island.
Relax with a glass of wine or a morning coffee on the huge deck overlooking Port San Juan. Everything you need to whip up a gourmet meal is at your fingertips in the modern kitchen. Throw a steak or freshly caught salmon or halibut on the Weber BBQ!
Wild at Heart is the perfect romantic getaway for you and another couple or a perfect family retreat. 2 master suites with queen beds and full bathrooms will be sure to please.
If you are needing to stay in touch with the outside world WiFi is activated.....you'll want to set your phones to WiFi calling as cellular service is not available in Port Renfrew.
You are steps away from the local Pacific Gateway Marina where you can book a fishing tour or whale watching expedition.
Tons of outdoor adventures await in our rustic community.....hiking trails and beaches abound.

New and up to date property. Everything worked well and we cannot say enough about the VIEWS! We really enjoyed the deck, the fireplace, and the grill. It was very nice to have Netflix for a foggy cool evening. A good property for two couples. The marina is nearby and we were able to book a boat trip for fishing at the last minute. We also enjoyed the Nordic Circuit spa nearby.

Family getaway

Our party of four (two brothers and two sister-in-law) couldn’t have wished for anything better! Beautiful views, large deck, accommodation kitchen, lovely bedrooms and en suites. Plus an orca-sighting on a first evening! Highly recommend this property for a hiking vacation to Port Renfrew.

The property is very clean, nicely decorated and well kept. Beautiful view of the bay. The online add states that this is a cottage, it isn’t. It’s a townhouse. Aside from that, the only real issues were:-the stove is badly in need of repairs. It is a gas range, and the front two elements can’t be controlled. Flames shoot everywhere. I notified the property owner and the response was “yeah they’re finicky”-There’s nowhere to unpack your luggage. Both bedrooms have drawers, but they are full of stuff. So you can’t get organized.

Perfect Getaway

Wonderful spot to relax and explore! My husband and I along with our 2 university age daughters had a fabulous weekend hiking, picnicking and exploring Port Renfrew. This VRBO was fantastic! The views from the large deck and floor to ceiling windows are spectacular. The suite was stylish and comfortable and had all you would need to feel right at home! Comfy beds, ensuite bathrooms, fully loaded kitchen and bbq. The fire table on the deck was a welcome addition for our west coast evenings and the star gazing was amazing! We will definetly return!

High spec cottage with fantastic view

This cottage/apartment has a fantastic view over the inlet at Port Renfrew one of only a handful that have it. The property is fitted out with extremely high spec furniture and appliances. One of the best I have ever stayed in. Port Renfrew itself is in a stunning location but lacks a decent supermarket, just a village store with limited supplies. . So suggest to take it with you. Definitely a great place to get away from it all.

Our host Debra was very welcoming and gave us perfectly detailed instructions. Location was perfect with an absolutely stunning floor to ceiling view. The bedding was luxurious. And the beds were very comfortable. The house was warm, cozy and inviting.

Gloriously Beautiful

Port Renfrew is a gem and the condo is comfortable and cozy. We watched eagles from the balcony and explored the woods and tide pools nearby. When we had any trouble, Debra was quick to reply and to help. This is a great little get-away.

Port Renfrew getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wild at Heart. It was a perfect set up for 2 couples. The place was clean and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics. Our check in and check out were easy. We loved the view and had the best weather while we explored the beaches. I would no hesitate to recommend Wild at Heart to my friends.

Wonderful rental space

Great space for myself, my husband and adult son. Beautiful views. The space is compact but well appointed. The kitchen is very well stocked. Close to some wonderful hikes. We saw whales and seals. Beds were very comfortable and lux linens. Definitely recommend.

Magical lake view

We had a lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed the 2 days at Port Renfrew. The cottage is very well appointed and beautifully furnished. It is overseeing the lake and offers magnificent views. Can only recommend this place to anyone.

Port Renfrew review

Excellent property. The only issue was with the empty propane tanks. With a bad back we decided not to fill them. Unfortunately with the cool evenings having a firepit would have been wonderful.

Amazing views and well appointed condo. Great hikes with beautiful scenery close by. Do your shopping before going to Port Renfrew as the market is quite limited.
