About this property

Lake Lanier - site of Olympic rowing park - private dock with rowing course

The basement apartment is on the Rowing Venue and less than 2 miles from the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Brenau College, Historic Downtown, Restaurants & Shops are only a few miles away.

Sandy beach, amazing dock to watch the races on (or to just relax), fishing and I have a boat, so if you are interested in a boat trip, let me know and I can try to work something out. Boat tour would cost extra.

My place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

The space

Private entrance, private off street parking, outdoor sitting area with fire pit, outdoor patio for relaxing with an outdoor table for romantic dinners.

Rustic decor with a hand made custom bar/eating area. The place is a wonderful place to get away from it all, or for a team to get ready for the big race.

Guest access

There is a private parking area dedicated to guest. It is on the side of the house and the walkway is 30 feet to your private entrance door. I will leave the door open and the light on for you ;-)

Interaction with guests

You will have full privacy, but I am available if you need any assistance. We offer boating excursions, jet skis, beach swimming, fire pits, eno's and basketball.

Other things to note

I have a dog and two cats that will roam around outside on occassion. All are extremely friendly, but if you are terrified of animals or have an allergy, do not consider this location please.

Do not waste your time.

I paid for the property in advance and was not notified until after the checkin time that it was double booked; it was a complete inconvenience which forced us to find somewhere else to stay last minute. I contacted the property manager a week before. VRBO was not accommodating.
