Our 3.5 star King Island Accommodation Cottages are situated on the East Coast of the Island away from the prevailing westerlies, overlooking Sea Elephant Bay. In a beautiful secluded setting you have miles of deserted sandy beaches to explore and 1 km from Naracoopa Jetty. Our 1 and 2 bedroom cottages are fully self-contained with kitchen facilities, dining, a lounge and seating and bathroom. Linen, towels and hairdryer are provided. Each offers flat-screen TV, DVD/CD player and radio. Shared laundry, BBQ area and games room including table tennis/billiards and darts. Boardgames and DVDS are available on loan from the library. The airport and main town, Currie are only approx 25 km from your accommodation.

Blue Wren Cottage was perfect for our recent 4-day stay when we were looking for somewhere quiet to recharge ourselves. It was very well-equipped, with lots of thoughtful touches to make our stay more comfortable. The pretty garden and sea views were very relaxing. It is some distance to shops and restaurants, but was well-set-up for self catering. A local restaurant is planning to reopen in Nov 2024.

Naracoopa - Blue Wren Cottage

This was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. The hosts Ange and Bob were so welcoming and thoughtful and gave us space to do our own thing. We were hard pressed to see everything we planned in just seven days and would love to return and do some hiking, cycling and swimming. All the islanders were incredibly friendly and down to earth. So relaxing. Thank you.

Wonderful spot by the sea.

A very comfortable cottage with everything you need for a relaxing beachside holiday. Set in beautiful gardens the cottage has easy access to the beach. The local bird life is amazing. Bob and Angie are wonderful hosts, who go out of their way to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We hope to return before too long. Many thanks Bob and Angie!
