It is located just minutes away from the ski hill, golf course, hiking and biking trails, the Elk River and many other activities and amenities. The Elk River is famous for its fly fishing.

White Christmas for an Australian family

Cozy cabin.

We had a great stay with friends. Perfect size for two families. The ski hill was 12 min away Cabin was super cozy, some of it was a little dated but very clean and kitchen was well stocked. Great hot tub

Nice and Quiet!

We loved our stay at the Cougar Chalet. We have no complaints. Everything we needed, was available. Beds were comfy, Hot tub was perfect! Great place to relax and visit. Fireplace warmed us up after the skiing. It felt like a home away from home. Awesome place for bird watching. Jami and Luke were great and very helpful to all of our questions.

Fantastic stay

The house was beautiful, comfortable and exceptionally clean. Jami ( house manager)was extremely helpful with everything we needed and she even mailed me my toque that I had forgotten when I left. I will definitely stay here again when in the Fernie area.
