Panoramic views of scenic Lake Chelan await at this cozy and welcoming Chelan vacation rental complete with a private elevated hot tub. Tucked away along the shoreline, the Tift Lake House remains both intimate and spacious with enough room for everyone. The rustic charm makes this house feel like home, but its dazzling deck and hot tub are resort-style amenities

The natural location of the home has a secluded feel with immediate access to the lake with both a stationary and floating swim dock. This is the perfect location for paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming far away from heavy boat traffic. Soak up the sun with patio furniture on the wide view deck as well as the lakefront. This home is nestled on the quieter south shore of Lake Chelan. The 18-mile drive into town weaves you past several of the finest regional parks and wineries including family-friendly Slidewaters and Lakeside Surf.

This true heavy timber frame home features a large living room with wood floors, vaulted ceiling, and soaring windows. The room is furnished with a comfy leather sofa and plush chairs as well as a large screen TV for family time. Step through double glass doors onto a deck with an unencumbered view up, down, and across the lake towards an undeveloped National Forest vista. The spacious deck has both a dining area and lounging furniture and a full-sized BBQ. The well-equipped kitchen includes a view centric dining area with a table for six plus. New appliances and a tiled eating bar make for easy food prep and serving. A bathroom on the main floor has a shower as well as a full laundry room. The second-floor bath features a large soaking tub.

When it's time to retire for the evening, the home offers two queen bedrooms on the second level as well as a queen sleeper on the mezzanine. The large vaulted third-floor loft has yet another queen bed as well as twin bunk beds.

The Tift Lake House is a unique sanctuary for vacationers who just want to escape, but when you want to get connected, the cabin features 5G Internet throughout, Dishnet TV, and DVD player on the main floor and an additional TV and DVD player in the loft. The cabin is just one mile from Field's Point Landing where you can catch a ride from the Lake Chelan Boat Company or the Courtney Ranch boats to Lucerne and Stehekin.

Stunning Lake and Mtn. Views, Private Hot Tub & Sunbathing, & two Docks.
Gorgeous, Timber Frame Lake house. Spacious rooms, very clean, amazing beds & bed linens, roomy bathrooms, wi-fi, reading lamps and comfy chairs, Books, Art and Board games. Air conditioning too! We enjoyed eating on the deck in the morning. In town during the hottest part of the afternoon for wine tasting, and an early dinner. Lots of time for an evening enjoying the amenities of the house and family. Our perfect long weekend!

Bring kids at your own risk
For us, this property was a slight disaster. The driveway is horrendous and we could barely swing our truck in and squeeze down the narrow driveway. It said 2 parking spaces as well as additional but if you drive anything bigger then a Mini Cooper you have to park on the bank so the other neighbors can get around you. The other spot was not marked either. From there to get to the house it’s a flight of old wooden stairs which I barely let our kids walk down. Once you get to the house after all this, note there is no cellphone service so if you’re not smart like me and don’t check your phone for the code to get in you have to reverse this whole process . Once in the house is beautiful but I wouldn’t recommend it for kids. LOTS of open stairs and the “kids” room is on the 3rd floor. Conveniently there is a window on the top bunk with no screen that kids can climb out of if they had a death wish. Thank goodness we caught it before anything happened to them. The property doesn’t have any flat spots for them to play so we kept them inside the entire weekend unless we went to the dock, which was actually quite nice. There are a bunch of paddle boards and boats but no oars or anything to use them. I’m not sure if that was on purpose or an accident. The few other things were the bbq has not been cleaned and it caught on fire when we started it. Thankfully we pulled it away from the house before starting it and other then a big black plume of smoke we lucked out on not having any other issues with it. The only other things that should be noted were the lack of carafe for the coffee pot and the significant amount of cobwebs through the house and windows. All of this stuff added up we still managed to have a good weekend, but it should be advertised as not kid friendly (or bring kids with caution) and more pictures to show what you’re signing up for.

Treat to stay in this beautiful home.
Lovely home gave us warm and cozy vibe. Hot tub was great because it was a little to cold to swim in the lake and it was serviced twice a week which was nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to stay here again. Stairs might be an issue for some but on the plus side it did give you a workout.
