Location is great and the dock right on the water was wonderful for Kayaking and Canoeing. Close enough to spend a day in Yellowstone but far enough away to avoid the crowds the rest of the time.
Excellent stay at the river cabin. Very comfortable interior. Kitchen is very well equipped. Our host were very responsive with any questions and assistance.
Beautiful cabin on the river. We enjoyed our stay very much - plenty of things to do in the area and at the cabin! Hiking, fishing, playing on the river- we had so much fun
We had our whole family in this cabin (10 people) and we fit with room to spare. We loved the back deck overlooking the river and the BBQ. We caught fish right off the dock and paddle boarded every day. The wildlife was beautiful - deer, pelicans, ducks, etc. the cool crisp mornings and evenings were refreshing. We also we very close to the Henry's fork river, some amazing fly fishing. Messa falls was close and surprisingly blew us away! We golfed at the island park course which was a lot of fun. Overall I'd rank this vacation spot as excellent - the cabin and the location were perfect for us.
The house and location was great! Having a private dock is amazing but the location was even better since it is a low traffic area. The house also had kayaks which my kids loved using. The house was clean and anytime we needed anything the host was on top of communicating with us. We would definitely stay there again.
The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Well equipped. Close to Yellowstone National Park. The view was great and the water was good for kayaking and fishing. Our family had a great trip and made lots of memories! Thanks!

Thank-you Jennifer, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Please come again!!
What a wonderful cabin! We had 8 adults and 6 children with plenty of room. Very nicely decorated. Great view of the lake; boat rental was available nearby. We rented pontoon boat and tube. Great fun! Fishing was great as well. Very peaceful and serene. The host always answered any questions I had very quickly. We will always remember this amazing vacation!
This cabin was perfect for our family Christmas! We had 6 grandkids and 7 adults. All adults/couples had their own bedrooms and the 4 older grandkids loved the loft where they each had their own bed! The kitchen has all of the supplies needed. The location of the cabin is spectacular! The view from the cabin to the river is beautiful- especially when there is so much snow! We had snow mobiles delivered and rode right from the driveway to the snowmobiling trails. We used the outdoor fire pit several times during the week. The best week!
The house has been renovated inside and was very clean and usable. The outside and grounds were a bit unkempt. There was roof underlay without overlying shingle across the porch roof and one of the photos with kind of a living area is actually just storage under the deck. That being said I think the price is competitive for the area and these weren't major issues during our stay.
It met our needs perfectly. The home was well stocked and decorated. We really enjoyed our stay. The only small thing to mention was that the grassy area could have been better manicured. Also, we used the pack n play, however it was missing the mattress pad. Lastly, it was difficult to get all of us showered and then wash and dry all the towels and get out the door by 11am. So we washed one load of towels and put them in the dryer. Then we left the rest of the towels on the floor by the washing machine. I hope this was okay.
Mainly, we had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing your home with us. The Bruin Family
My family of 10 just returned in July from a week at this wonderful cabin. The pictures don't really do it justice. We really enjoyed the wonderful deck out back. It does have a gate that closes, so that's nice for toddlers and pets as well.
There were plenty of beds for everyone to sleep comfortably. The beds were actually very nice to sleep in. There were plenty of extra blankets around for lounging.
We took our surf boat and our fishing boat too. Having the private dock and close by boat launch was great. The kitchen had almost everything I needed to keep up with all the hungry appetites. There's an instapot and large stock pots as well as a crock pot that was hiding in a lower cupboard.
The showers and toilets worked great, which is always a good thing when renting a VRBO. :) There were pleanty of towels for our large crew as well.
Beware though, you are out in the mountains and little critters such as spiders do make their way into the cabin.
Keri was always great at commnication when I had a question. We will definately be coming back in the future to stay here!
We really enjoyed our stay, it was everything we expected and more, it was delivered just as explained. We stayed in the winter and was great but the summer would be equal to or better based on the views and water so near the property.
The property was great! It was situated right on Henry's Fork River. Although, it snowed approximately 4" - 6" while we were there, we still had plenty to do. The location is great to serve as a "base camp" for all of your adventures (i.e. Yellowstone, Fly Fishing, etc.) The property owners were great and super responsive to my questions.
This cabin was so cute and so fun! The large deck was perfect for our family gatherings. The cabin had plenty of beds for what we needed and the lake was beautiful! I highly recommend.
Location was great for Yellowstone and convenient to all we wanted to do. The cabin was absolutely perfect for us. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed…and more. Will stay here again when we visit again!
It’s a beautiful cabin. They really paid attention to all the small details. Beds are comfy, plenty of towels, dishes ect. all the little extras some vrbo”s sometimes miss.
We had a great time at the Island Park cabin. The scenery was amazing and close enough for us to explore Yellowstone a bit. The cabin was nice and cozy once we figured out where to turn on the furnace and chimney. We are considering coming back in the summer!

Cabin getaway
This is a cute cabin right off the river. This is the first time I have been dissapointed in a VRBO. when you are paying what we were you expect a first class stay. This cabin is cute but it was not clean, the towels were cheap, the grounds were messy, the roof leaked and every morning at 7 am there were power tools and hammering going on .. even though the rules state quiet time is until 8am. All of this would have been fine if we had been warned before hand and were offered a discounted rate .We still had a good time with the kayaks and canoes but this was not what we were expecting.

Anna-
Thank you for the feedback. We would like to take a minute to address your concerns.
First of all, we are sorry our cabin did not meet your standards for cleanliness. This is of concern to us as upon reviewing feedback on this and various other sites, you will notice this typically not an issue for us. We would like to hear some specific concerns so we may take them up with our cleaners quickly so as not to allow further propagation down the line. We reached out to you privately, but have yet to receive a response. It would be extremely helpful us and our cleaners to know where they need to improve.
Regarding the towels. We intentionally do not provide the highest quality as it is a mountain cabin on the lake and they take a great deal of abuse. They are in good condition, always clean, replaced as needed, and are far from the bottom end of the spectrum. We feel it is not practical to provide spa level towels given the environment and the type of use they are typically subjected to.
As previously mentioned, our place is a mountain cabin on the lake residing in a forest on an acre of ground. We enjoy the natural surroundings and do not groom or landscape. We host guests from all over the world and have never received a derogatory mention of this as I suspect most are visiting to enjoy all that nature has to offer.
We would have greatly appreciated you making contact regarding the roof leak at the time of your visit. We have since conducted an extensive walk down and could not detect evidence of a roof leak. As there was no rain or other precipitation during your stay, we are quite confused as to what may have been the source.
Lastly, the construction. I would like to clarify the fact that the construction being conducted during your stay was at another cabin in the neighborhood and not ours. We never schedule construction activities during a guests stay, other than to address an emergent issue. That being said, when you contacted us notifying us of the construction taking place, we let you know at that time that the homeowners association sets the quiet time hours and are therefore responsible for governance and enforcement. We also stated that we cannot control what others do with their cabins. However, we offered to make contact with the board members and request them to intervene on your behalf, which we did. We did not receive any additional feedback leading us to believe the matter had been resolved to your satisfaction.
We loved staying here on our family vacation. The view was awesome and loved being right next to the river. The deck definitely needs to be fixed/replaced. The boards move with almost every step. It was supplied with almost everything we needed. We brought our own paper plates, paper bowls, plastic cups, and plastic silverware and we were so glad we did cause everything there was glassware. So not only did it save us on dishes but saved us from worrying about one of them getting broken. Overall it's a fun, nice place to getaway. We would definitely go back again.
This is an old cabin that has had some nice modern upgrades. Plenty of towels were provides and it was really nice to have a wash machine and dryer. Nice open concept in the kitchen and living room with views of the water. Toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and laundry supplies were provided. The cabin needs a serious cleaning!! Be sure to bring slippers or an extra pair of shoes because your feet or socks will get black from the dirty floors. The kitchen drawers and cupboards had crumbs in them. The oven was disgustingly gross. The refrigerator and freezer where dirty. A canoe and kayaks were provided but no life jackets. The bathroom did not have a curtain on the window - lucky (or unlucky :-) ) neighbor gets a good view. The large deck was great but kinda sketchy - very uneven, some loose boards and if you look at the deck foundation you'll see a very crude construction job. The location is great and the area was pretty quiet while we were there.
We had such a great experience. The cabin was beautiful and so well equipped. We cooked a full turkey dinner, grilled steaks, made pie and had everything we needed. Beautiful view of the water.
This property was amazing. I took my family of 10 to explore Yellowstone and the surrounding areas. The house was very well laid out with plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Enjoyed our coffee in the morning on a very large deck overlooking the beautiful Snake River, did a lot of fishing (and catching 3 rainbow trout that were about 15”!) of the dock and used the kayaks and a canoe to explore the river. The house is situated not far from the highway but you feel like you’re in a world of your own. It was very quiet and peaceful. We will be visiting again and would absolutely stay here! Not only was the property wonderful, but the owners were too. All questions I had were answered in a timely fashion and we were completely prepared for our stay!
