Casa Bella

Overall stay was excellent. WiFi was a little glitchy at times. Wish there were more dishwasher pods and cleaning sprays to clean up with, as well as dish towels. The house was clean, had an awesome layout for our group of 13.5 people! Will definitely return in the future!

Perfect Spot!

Casa Bella was perfect for our family vacation! The house is nicely laid out with space where all of us could hang out together or go off in smaller groups. The dock area was where we spent most of our time. The beach is rocky but even the little ones got used to it and ditched their swim shoes. Love that you can see the waterfront from the deck. The sauna was great for a quick dip after swimming. Kitchen is very well stocked with every utensil and small appliance you could possibly need. We have more family members going next year. Otherwise we'd definitely be back as Casa Blanca! If you are a family that spends a lot of time playing board games...take your own. Games that were there were not in very good shape. We always take a new jigsaw puzzle that we work on all week.

Really Nice!!!

My entire family loves the house. We spent Thanksgiving there and it was nice. Modern, pretty clean a few spider webs and dust but it was mostly clean. I loves the kitchen even though the light over the stove was out. The kitchen was nice. I love the deck and also the view of the lake! We had a good time making a fire st the pit as well. Would def recommend and go back!!!

Perfect in Every Way!

Reviewer Comments: This house is modern, up-to-date and in a perfect setting for large families even with small children-no street to cross to get to the lake. There were no steps to climb down to water, no big rocks for children to get hurt on - it was a beach-like setting down by the water which was perfect for small children. The house was big enough that 14 of us did not feel like we were on top of each other. The dock was perfect for the boat we rented and the lake had an ice cream parlor and restaurant that we boated too - no need to drive all week! The state park beach was seconds down the street along with hiking trails. The location was secluded enough that we were not bothered by neighbors. The outside deck was large enough to spend outside time on with everyone. We will definitely come back to Deep Creek and rent Casa Bella again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful. The bathrooms were stunning. This is the house you dream of as your own. The views were gorgeous. The only thing I would adjust is the cleaning of the property. There was layers of dust on pretty much anything hanging, such as light fixtures, vent hood above the stove, and the walls. Many cobwebs hanging from the walls. The floors in the bathrooms needed a good deep cleaning. Definitely needs some touch up paint and general maintenance on broken fixtures.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Casa Bella is awesome! House was exactly as described and having the floor plan avail ahead of time was really helpful. We had 6 adults and 7 kids (8 and under) and there was plenty of space for everyone. We cooked all three nights during our stay, kitchen was well stocked and the professional grade stove was a big hit! Being on the park side of the lake means about a 12min trip to get to most of the retail and Wisp but its a gorgeous drive and we loved the more remote feeling of it. Well worth it for the gorgeous lake views! I had a great experience with Taylor Made, always very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this house, we will be back for sure!

Great Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this house 2 years in a row now and we love it. It's such a beautiful home and the décor is amazing. I did notice that obviously previous renters have not taken care of it well. We noticed there was a door downstairs that seemed to not want to shut. The stools downstairs were a safety hazard to sit on. The walls and floors had been slightly beat up. I think the management could do a better job keeping the house looking as beautiful as it is. We also had a problem with our electric being shut off for a half day. Which wasn't anyone's fault. It was just inconvenient because it was also raining. Over all we had a great time.

Lovely Lake Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Casa Bella is updated and spacious. The location is perfect allowing for walks to the state park and hiking trails. Th beach area is wide and nice for small children. There is a gorgeous bar area on the lower level, but it lacks a pool table and full size refrigerator. And, as with all rental companies, too much is expected from the cleaning crew. It is impossible for one person to adequately prepare a home of this size in an hour or so.

Casa Bella-High hopes & surveillance led to dissappointmet

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: During our 7th yr at DCL, we decided to rent Casa Bella based on photos on the Taylor Made website – that is where our negative review begins. The photos were taken in a manner to make everything look bigger. When we arrived, nothing was as large as it appeared-especially the openness of the backyard and the rock area at the dock. Photos of the dock area seem were taken when the lake level was much lower, giving the impression of a bigger lakefront. This house is advertised with a private dock & 1 slip. We like that space to socialize with family and to dock rental boats. Taylor Made contacted us after we made our 2nd or 3rd payment stating the owner would be leaving his boat in the dock slip. It was too late to cancel the rental and get our money back. When we arrived at the property, there was a boat docked as well as a jet ski – just like the photo on the website, which left us with only one side of the dock to use for entertainment and watercraft rentals. Approximately 3 days prior to our arrival, we were informed that the hot tub was not working – again, too late to cancel & get a refund. They indicated the hot tub would be repaired by Monday, but it was not useable until Wednesday night (we were refunded $125 for that). Other issues we encountered with the home; a toilet that ran continuously, a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink, broken screen door from the kitchen to the deck, a handle falling off the door to the patio, the wood railing to the basement was hanging off the wall, and several additional minor items-THE WORST THING-people in a boat came by and took pictures of us on the dock & as we floated in the water. We asked what they were doing and they said they were friends of the owners; it seemed we were under surveillance–WTH! When you pay $5500 for that house – you don’t want to deal with all of those issues. Taylor Made was called out 3 times to address the problems that were not fixed properly.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love, love, love this property. This is the only property I've ever had to call maintenance/management. Great place for a short vacation. for the last past 6 years I celebrate my birthday in Deep Creek. Love the kitchen especially the stove. (Chef by trade). The TV on the main level wasn't connected or something. I had to call 2 times before anyone showed up. The last 2 years have been a struggle for me as I am struggling with breast cancer I still managed to make the trip again. Thanks to the staff @ Taylor made for being patient with me this year. You guys are GREAT......
