The morning of guest arrival, easy to follow driving directions, parking spot assignment, door code, and other precise check in details will be provided.

We’re here if you need us—and invisible if you don’t. Our small team works hard behind the scenes to keep the property safe, clean, and beautiful. You may see us (or our sweet maintenance guy) around from time to time, especially during checkouts, yard work, or if a guest requests assistance. We also live on-site part-time in a private area and commute weekly to Oregon. Your privacy is always respected.

Human neighbors are friendly, but enjoy the privacy that country life ensures. The numerous animal neighbors are furry, or feathered, and some are approachable; but most are pretty shy. (domestic rabbits, barn cats, deer, frogs, birds, raccoon, bobcats, quail, squirrels, skunks, etc...)

All of our guests really LOVE the outdoor shower and we know that you will too! Lovely fluffy towels and a warm, fuzzy, robe is provided so dressing and undressing for your long, hot, outdoor shower is easy and convenient.

There is no cell service in our canyon but enabling wifi-calling on your phone will provide a equivalent signal via our recently upgraded routers and service.

Add-On Amenities & The Camper’s Closet:
Looking to level up your stay? We’ve got a few optional add-ons available to make your retreat experience even better!
✨ The Camper’s Closet is our cozy little on-site camp store—fully self-serve and available 24/7 through a QR code or link. You’ll find essentials and fun extras like:
S’mores kits 🍫
Fire starter kit 🔥
Trader Joe’s snacks 🥪
Grocery or flower delivery services 💐
…and more!
🧺 Laundry Room Access ($10 Add-On): Want to use our shared laundry room during your stay? You can reserve it for 6 hours of exclusive use through the Camper’s Closet as well.
🧖‍♀️ Barrel Sauna ($20 Add-On): Unwind in our wood-fired barrel sauna, tucked in a peaceful corner of the retreat. Whether you`re chasing post-hike relaxation or just a cozy moment of zen, this warm little haven is now available to book for private 2 hour sessions.
💡 How it works: All of these are optional add-on services and require advance purchase through our online store. You`ll receive the link before your arrival. Once you place your order, you’ll get an email with instructions for pickup or reservation and your door code.

Just a heads-up: Airbnb`s new fee transparency policy means we’re listing these here as optional add-ons to keep things crystal clear. They`re not included in your nightly rate, but they’re here if you want to customize your stay!

Great Solo Retreat

I spent the day meditating on the two decks, reading, and being still. It was a great location for that.

Gorgeous location

Gorgeous location, close to town. It was a bit too "tiny house" for me and the outhouse wasn't lit. For the price, I will probably not stay here again.

Peaceful and cozy

It was my first time in a tiny house and I stayed 2 nights while attending my cousins wedding. The outdoor shower with instant hot water was a wonderful way to wake up each morning and the space was so quiet and peaceful. Now I want to build my own tiny house!

Lovely!

Very cute, comfy, and cozy tiny house. I stayed in Vagabond and it met all my needs. There was just enough space for me and my pup!

Perfectly magical

I love this place! The tiny home and beautiful surroundings had everything I was hoping for and more. I worked remote and had my dog with me during my stay. It was a peaceful, comfortable, and a beautiful atmosphere. Thank you for making this place and for being such a kind and helpful host during my stay.

The property was super cute and quiet. Just the right place for relaxation. I loved how it was so quiet and I enjoyed sitting out on the porch and sipped on my coffee. Would definitely book again. Thanks!!!

Nestled in Sherwood Forest, There is a Tiny Village

I stayed in the tiniest of the tiny, The Birdhouse. I was able to work in the mornings at the tiny business center and explore wine country with friends also staying in the village in the afternoons. Smart design, soothing decore, comfy loft bed and good heat and ventilation. The highlight was taking a hot shower while looking out over the tree tops. Just steps from the “beer library” and from the composting toilet (smells only of sawdust). I’ll be back!

Sherwood Tiny Birdhouse

Wow! What a great spot where comfort and rustic come together. I love this tiny house. It has everything I needed and nothing I didn’t need. Tucked into the trees, quiet, a sweet spot to relax. Michelle is an incredible host, right there when I needed her. I’ll be back!
