Nestled in a 7 acre property surrounded by National Forest land, Treehouse Chalets are eco-friendly villas with a focus on a connection to nature, emphasis on tranquility while maintaining the luxury of modern comfort. Nestled deep in the heart of Bulhiloya, set in the serene rural landscape, filled with lush gardens, fruit trees and picturesque scenery, of central Sri Lanka is where you will find this very tranquil location.

Consciously designed to provide peaceful comfort and tranquil privacy, the chalets tastefully blend local architectural styles with contemporary design. Even the positioning of our buildings was consciously planned to envelope the guest in the surrounding jungle mountains.

The garden's array of tropical fruit trees and shrubs make it an ideal setting for relaxation, meditation and inspiration. The days here are warm and the evenings cool creating the perfect setting for spending the day enjoying endless cups of tea on the terrace or at the wading pool.

Treehouse Chalets are completely off the tourist track in an eco-friendly nook of the county the offers guests a slice of undisturbed nature and thereby makes it the perfect point from which to explore the breathtaking scenery of the highlands. Our location is also central enough to be perfectly positioned to enjoy several possible day trips to major tourist sites in the area.

The bedroom has doors which lead directly out onto the terrace. It is from this large terrace that you can relax and admire the amazing views.

Our chalets consist of one large bedroom with floor to ceiling glass windows and doors that optimize the view of the surrounding wilderness, an eat-in kitchen, full bathroom and a lofted seating area that can also be used as a sleeping area.

Imagine doing a sun salutation where you can reach your arms up and truly salute the sun. Practice in lush green vegetation, taking advantage of nature's yoga mat: grass. Breathe to the sounds of water, birds and the whispering wind that surround you. Become one with nature.

Sri Lanka is home to some of the most exotic animals in the world. This area is home to many species of Monkeys, Peacocks, Porcupine, Pangolins, Wild Boar, and Sambar and Mouse deer, beautiful Birds and Butterflies. Any of which you may spy roaming the area during the day or night.
