About this property

Oceanfront Experience - Shipwatch C-214 - with Free Ocean Breeze

We are the new owners of this amazing second floor unit, in the desirable Shipwatch Villas. C-214 has some of the greatest views of the ocean in Shipwatch.

Two of the three bathrooms have been completely remodeled at the end of 2023.

The views from our balcony also include lush tropical landscape and a bit of the beautiful Shipwatch pool, the biggest and best pool in Wild Dunes. It's also a mineral pool.

Each of the three bedrooms has it's own full bath! King beds in the master (Admiral's Suite) and first guest room (Captain's Quarters). Both a double bed and a twin bed are in the second guest room (First Mates' Room). There's also a pull out sofa in the sitting room.

The spacious open living areas and bathrooms have beautiful tile flooring. In 12/2019, we replaced the carpet in the bedrooms with luxury vinyl tile. No questionable carpet!

The kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless appliances, updated cabinets and bar seating. New microwave installed in 3/2021. New standard/convection/air fryer/dehydrator oven and refrigerator installed in 1/2022.

The large patio is accessible from the living room and the master bedroom and is the perfect place to enjoy stunning sunrises. We purchased new comfy sectional patio furniture in the summer of 2019.

We purchased new TVs for the entire place. The one in the sitting room is 50" HD 4K Smart TV.

In addition to the nightly rate, a 10% South Carolina state and a 4% Charleston County tax will be added to your charges. There is a $250 Administration Fee, a $200 Cleaning Fee, and a $59 Damage Protection Insurance Premium to cover up to $1,500 accidental damage (or you can choose to pay a $1500 refundable damage deposit, if no damages).

Fantastic Rental

This was the perfect rental for us. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The unit was clean and contemporary with two baths upgraded recently. Furniture was nice and kitchen was well-stocked. Owner was incredibly helpful with all questions. I will rent here again for sure.

My husband, Jeff and I have loved the Charleston area since before we even met. One of our first vacations together, in 1990, was a trip to Charleston. We've always dreamed of owning a place on the beach near there. That dream has finally come true! We, along with our 21 year old daughter and Jeff's parents purchased this place in 2019. We live in Knoxville, Tennessee. We also own a cabin in the Smoky Mountains that we rent on VRBO. Why they chose this property

After we decided on Wild Dunes, we spent many years weighing all the possibilities of the different options available on the island. We like that Shipwatch is far enough from the beach to be protected from hurricanes. They remodeled the building recently to replace all the windows and glass doors with hurricane resistant ones. We love that the 3 bedrooms, each having their own baths. This unit has high end everything. The cabinets, counter tops, furnishings, etc. We knew when we walked in the front door, that this was the condo for us. We hope you enjoy it as much as we know we will.

What makes this property unique

* Great view of the beach and ocean, even from the kitchen. For other listings that don't mention this or if there are no pictures of the beach from the condo, chances are you can't see the beach from the condo.
* Although there are many three bedroom villas in Shipwatch, this one has no stairs within the unit. It also has been updated.
* Flooring is either tile or luxury vinyl tile. There's no carpet.
* Internet speed upgraded to 45mbps
* All 4 TVs are smart. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Starz available.
* Two of the bathrooms have been totally remodeled.

Although there are many three bedroom villas in Shipwatch, this one has no stairs within the unit. It also has been updated. All three bedrooms have luxury vinyl tile.

We also provide two beach chairs and one umbrella for every day of your stay, except your check-in and check-out days. You will also receive 15% off of any additional beach chair/umbrella needs from Chunky's Chairs.
