House was nice, rental company was terrible
The house itself was very nice. It had room for everyone and the kitchen was well stocked. With that being said, check in is not at 3. It begins at 3, but doesnt end until 6:30, so you just have to wait around until they text you to tell you the house is ready. After driving for 12 hours, I dont really want to sit around for 3 hours waiting for a text. I didnt get in until 5, and it could have been later except I called and asked for an update. When we got to the house, we did not have linens or towels. It was after hours, so no one responded to my calls or emails. We had to sleep on the mattress protectors without pillowcases the first night, which was disgusting. In addition, my pillow was covered in black hair. It was stuck in the fibers of the pillow, and im not quite sure how housekeeping didnt catch it. I got a phone call the next morning from the rental company stating our linens would be dropped off at 1. Lastly, the wifi box fell out of the ceiling in the downstairs bedroom. It was not installed correctly, with only one anchor, and could have easily hurt someone if it fell on them. I called the rental company who could have cared less and told me they will tell the owner. I enjoyed the house, and the pool, but the rental company is a mess.
