Very clean and accommodating. It was well setup for our two kids that are five and two. Heated pool was great in the afternoons and the beach is just a short walk. The owner was very responsive to be sure we had everything we needed.

We had an excellent stay at this property! It's very well maintained and truly felt like a home away from home. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the abundance of beach and pool toys and gear—it was so convenient to have those on hand, covering anything we forgot or didn't have room to pack. The only drawback may be the detached 3rd bedroom and ensuite. Would still highly recommend!

Perfect spring break

The property was just as described with wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces. The proximity to the beach and the lovely heated pool made it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the great weather. The hosts were very responsive and helpful when needed. Definite recommend.

Cozy beach house just steps away from the beach, pool and outdoor area was where we spent a lot of time! Really great for family travel, the kids room was wonderful! Thanks for staying with us. We just installed an oversized pool heater, which was turned off for the summer. Due to the high ambient temperatures the pool temperature rose. Thankfully, our new pool heater has a cooling function, and we were able to “cool the pool”.

We had an amazing time at this property! The house was perfect for us and our one year old daughter. Great location to walk over to the beach or to take a drive anywhere on the island. We will definitely book the property again when return to HHI.

Family Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean, easy access to the beach and the owners have provided all the amenities with beach chairs, towels, wagon and many beach toys for kids. The house is equipped with a high chair and toys for toddlers. The pool and patio provide a great environment for evening family meals. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Great beach house

The house was the perfect size for my family- 4 adults, a preschooler and a toddler. We had to watch both extremely carefully because the pool wasn’t fenced but we are very conscientious adults so it wasn’t a problem. The only complaint I have is the sheets on the outside bedroom were very rough and uncomfortable. The bed itself was perfect Hopefully, we’ll be able to return in the future.

We enjoy the beauty and wonder of nature as there are no two days alike by the ocean. We also appreciate healthy living with good food and good friends!!

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property to make the most of its proximity to the ocean and vacation feel by adding a pool area and remodeling the interior while maintaining its mid-century beachy feel. Rather than change the interior entirely we chose to preserve its original style, creating a relaxing, bright and cozy ambiance inside. Besides the house, we love the location and quiet, family-oriented neighborhood!!
