The White Villa Sherezade is spacious and offers every comfort for up to 8 guests.
The large master bedroom has its own marble bathroom (shower, toilet, bidet) and a stunning view of the lagoon (when you open the curtains, you’ll see the lagoon glistening in the sunlight—the perfect way to start your day in the best holiday mood). The “Princess Room” also boasts a breathtaking view of the lagoon, and both rooms open onto the balcony. From there, you can overlook the pool, sun deck, and lagoon; on the horizon, the imposing mountain range of eastern Egypt makes a striking impression.
Another room is located in the main house, and a full apartment is housed in the garage building. Here, too, the bathroom is en suite. The standard is the same as in the main house; the room is fully air-conditioned, and the bathroom is finished with Egyptian marble.
Next door is the “laundry room,” where you’ll find a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, and (for beach gear) a small drying rack.


Pool, lagoon, BBQ: In winter, the decision of whether to jump into the pool or the lagoon is easy, since the pool is heated. From spring through fall, however, you’ll be spoiled for choice. The good news: You don’t have to choose at all—both are fun, and you can have both!

If, after sunbathing by the pool for a while, you’d rather toast the magnificent view in the shade with a glass of champagne, a large thatched pergola invites you to do just that. There’s plenty of sunshine in El Gouna anyway.

The barbecue pavilion (which is all yours) is also thatched with reeds; as you gather around the glowing charcoal, you’ll watch the freshest fish you’ve ever grilled sizzle away—City centre has a small but excellent fishmonger.

Don’t feel like cooking yourself? That can change in a flash in the spacious and fully equipped luxury kitchen. If not: Many restaurants deliver right to your door, so you’ll never have to miss out on the stunning lagoon view!

Just a stone’s throw from town: You’ll love the quiet location of our villa. Yet you’ll be right in the heart of the action in just a few minutes:

The main mode of transport on EG is the tuk-tuk. They’ll take you to your desired destination for about one euro (for all three passengers, not per person!). For example, to El Kafr (city centre), where you’ll find restaurants, several supermarkets, a fish market, fruit and vegetable vendors, a small souk, and several cafés filled with the aroma of shisha tobacco. As an alternative to the tok-tok, there are taxis that cost 15 pounds—about two euros (no matter where you’re going)—or just 10 pounds per ride with a 10-ride pass. You can reach the taxi and tuk-tuk dispatch centre by phone; the number is saved in the villa.

At the new marina, you’ll find a wide selection of truly excellent restaurants. Enjoy an Egyptian wine with your meal—it certainly doesn’t have to be French; the local winemakers know their craft.

La Rotisserie (part of the Steigenberger) is considered one of the best restaurants and is a 20-minute walk (or a 4-minute tuk-tuk ride) from our villa.

Even closer is The Waterside Snackshack Restaurant near the water ski lift: it’s a 3-minute tuk-tuk ride away, or a good quarter of an hour on foot.

Is sunbathing by the pool not enough? El Gouna has plenty to offer:

For diving or snorkelling, take an affordable day trip by boat. Equipment is provided. Ideal: Our villa is located at the end of the “group tour” route, so you’ll only have a short transfer (the boat from “The Dive Connection” departs from Abydos Marina). On the way back, you’ll be the first to disembark.

Our lagoon is perfect for SUP (stand-up paddleboarding)—you can reach the open sea in just 30 minutes. Windsurfing is possible, but the wind over the lagoon is usually too gusty, so the beaches are a better option!

By the way, there are three kiteboarding stations there. Thanks to the wide shallow area and consistent sideshore wind, EG is considered a mecca for kiteboarders and windsurfers.
