We had a great time in Ridgway. The house was perfect with great views! It had everything you could need from a rental for a family. Would definitely go back!!!
Cielo Vista is everything the pictures show and more! The views are stunning! The house is clean and well stocked. We loved the views so much that we opted to spend dinners at the house rather than go into town. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to hopefully returning next year!
We really loved our stay. The home is amazing and the view of the mountains is surreal. We visit the area every summer and this year was stellar. So quiet and relaxing. Nightly star watch, grilling on the deck, and all of the wonderful wildlife. A five star experience no doubt!
The pictures of this place do not do it justice. The mountains are the perfect backdrop for this cozy cabin. The kitchen was very well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the added bonus of toys and movies in the loft for the kiddos was awesome. The layout worked perfectly for our group of 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The deer visit every morning and we loved watching them while we ate breakfast. A reasonable price for such a gem!
Great place to get away for a sisters weekend. Abit off the highway but worth the drive. Sitting on the deck morning and evening was a treat being able to watch the hummingbirds, deer and chipmunks. Fully stocked kitchen is a huge plus. Will stay again on a heart beat. Thank you.

We loved our stay at the Reubeck Cabin/Cielo Vista! It was extremely well appointed with all the cooking utensils and many basic ingredients (spices, non-perishables) to make sure you don't have to pack absolutely everything for a night in. The pots and pans are well kept, to include the cast iron skillets which I appreciated. The views from the grounds, particularly the back deck and sitting room are amazing. We loved being able to sit and enjoy a morning coffee while our kids slept in the spare bedroom. They really loved playing in the loft, and felt like the kid space was just for them.
We found the location easy to get to and central to a lot of the day trips we already had planned. The driveway might get dicey on the winter but our Jeep had no problem throwing itself up the hill.
Beautiful property. I would have given 5 stars if the parking situation was better.

Wrong address on VRBO caused much confusion, but once we found it, it was lovely! Cute home, but dated. Worn carpets and carpeted bathrooms were a negative, but the kitchen was very well appointed and most importantly, the beds were fabulous! The views and wildlife were wonderful 10.
Perfectly outfitted reflecting perfectlylocal history and adventures.
After nearly 2500 miles across country at 100 plus degree temperatures. This retreat exceeded all expectations. The views, the nature, the peace and tranquility, stars galore and all between the old west from John Wayne's yesteryear, and some of the most challenging off-road trails in Colorado leading to old gold and silver mines and abandoned ghost towns. The house is outfitted with everything you need, comfortable bedding, laundry and kitchen supplies. Kept clean and private, many thanks to Rick
We had an absolutely wonderful time. The cabin was the perfect location to our son’s wedding at Top of the Pines. Everyone was comfortable and there was plenty of space for us.I would only suggest perhaps new towels or not having people throw them in the washer when they leave (which we couldn’t do due to no soap) but the clean towels smelled like mildew and were sour smelling. Kind of the smell they get when left wet in the washer. We just used our own towels we brought for the hot springs. So no worries.Everything else was 100% perfect.
Loved the place & Loved the view. Saw many deer right outside in front yard & several Elk down the road! The house was very clean & stocked with everything you need. The view is Spectacular!! We enjoyed the fire pit and sitting on the deck looking at the mountains! We would definitely stay again. It is slightly remote so keep that in mind. Loved the loft!
Property is just amazing. Peaceful and filled with wildlife. The inside could use a little refresh but you don’t go to Colorado to hang inside. Very well stocked home with many amenities. Woukd definitely stay here again.
The location is beyond exceptional. The cabin is better than the pictures. The views and wildlife were the stars of the stay. This cabin is close to many exploration options and only a handful of miles away from the town of Ridgeway. The property manager did call us after the 1st night asking us to observe the HOA’s quiet hours after 9pm. The entire family enjoyed the night skies on the deck until 11pm. We hadn’t seen many of the family members since December and were really enjoying catching up. We were laughing and singing together and unfortunately noise really travels in the mountains. We as a family made sure to take our late night conversations inside after 9 pm and it all worked out well.We truly thank the owners for sharing this amazing cabin. We can’t wait to come back.Just a side note, the driveway is very steep and there’s only room for 2 vehicles, 3 maximum.
We had a great time staying in this home. Absolutely stunning views, wildlife, and amazing stars at nights. The house was excellent and very well stocked where it was easy to prepare meals. Very convenient to Ridgway, Telluride, and Ouray. We very much appreciate the welcome folder with lots of details about the area, restaurants, and things to do.
This was the cleanest house we have ever stayed. The appliances were so clean we thought they may be new. The kitchen was fully stocked with clean dishes and pots and pans. When we arrived it was almost evening and raining. It was hard to judge the view. We were rewarded in the morning with sunshine and the most beautiful view of the mountains. We had plenty of guests consisting of deer, chipmunks, hummingbirds, hawks and a blue jay I haven't seen before. The wrap around deck allowed me sit and take pictures up close and personal. Having come from Dallas, the cool temperatures and the snow on the mountains in June was a bonus! We were able to enjoy day trips to Ouray and Telluride. There is a National Forest entrance very close to the cabin, I recommend the drive through! We spent two whole days just staying in and enjoying the view and the cabin vibes. I highly recommend this cabin if a relaxing get away is what you are looking for.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The Mountain View was absolutely breathtaking — one of the best we’ve ever seen. The house was spotless, very well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We loved watching deer pass through the property, adding to the peaceful, nature-filled atmosphere. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to explore. Highly recommend this gem of a getaway!
What a beautiful setting and a wonderful place to enjoy our morning coffee in the midst of God's Beautiful Creation!! Such amazing views and and wonderful weekend getaway!!

In 1983, we got married and moved to Montrose and that is when our love affair with Colorado began. I am from Edmond, Oklahoma and my husband is from Wayne, Nebraska and we both went to college in Dallas, Texas. So Colorado, with its majestic mountain ranges and cool summer nights were something totally different than either of us were used to. We lived in Montrose for five years, then moved to various locations around the country and are now back in Big D. But Colorado was always calling us to come back. In 2000, we built our cabin with Dusty's parents, Jack and Evie. For years, they spent every summer up there enjoying everything the area has to offer. We love our time in Ridgway, Colorado. We look forward to it every year and we hope you get a chance to experience Cielo Vista for yourself.
