About this property

Beautiful 1 Bedroom Condo secluded over looking the tennis courts from the screened in balcony and the Indoor Heated Pool, Hot Tub & workout room in just outside the front steps. We just adding some new furnishings. The private beach is just past the next building, less than a 2 minute walk through our beautiful court yard with a lagoon and 2 outdoor pools.
In Addition to the 1 bedroom, there is also a single built in bunk bed and a queen pull out couch. The unit has a private secure wifi available to you along with the complex having 24 hour security and gated community. The kitchen has refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and crock pot as well as your pots/pans, dishes comes stocked with some basic spices. We do supply starter toiletries and paper towels also. The Spa is nestled between Mitchellville Beach Park & Fish Haul Beach Park. We have 3 Tennis courts, 2 outdoor pools (open Apr - Nov), 1 heated indoor pool & Jacuzzi. Clamming, shrimping, oysters, mussels and fishing are all allowed on this beach (need a fishing license - avail @ Walmart). This is one of the least populated beaches on the island so it is not overcrowded at all. It is also a great beach for kids to make sand castles, play in the water. I love the walks on the beach and watching the 2 Bald Eagles we have living here with us and the dolphins too. Please note: there are no life guards at our beach.
Hilton Head Island is a premiere resort community. It has 12 miles of ocean beach, over 200 restaurants, over 30 golf courses, nature preserves, parks, shops, Mini golf, and bicycle trails. The island bike trail is right outside the complex. There are also many bike rental companies who will deliver & pickup right to the condo. Savanna is only 45 minutes away if you want to go on a day trip.

Smaller than expected and dated, but very clean. Not as close to the beach as we thought, but once you got there it was very nice. Condo ammentities were also nice.

V-day Beach Get Away

My husband and I enjoyed our overnight stay. The property was clean, quiet and just a quick little walk to the beach. The only issue that we had was that we had been informed that we needed to bring cash to purchase the parking pass or else we'd be ticketed. It needed to be in cash because the guardhouse only accepted cash. We got there to find out that, that they didnt accept cash and the price had gone up to 25. We feel that the 25 shouldve been included in the price of the stay and the parking pass waiting for us. But other than that little snafu, it was great!

I better get my deposit back

No shower no balconey the door was jambed ths shower had no presser. I had to leave a leaky facet in the sjower could not shout off. Ths spa was half assedI hope to get my deposit back

Property was old and tired but clean.I find it annoying to have to pay for parking.That fee should be included with rental.We only slept there so it was ok.Next time cheaper to stay at the days inn as the fees really rack up.

This was a horrible experience.

My overall impressions of the property are that it is an older what I would all apartments. Now, they have been fixed up, but there is no denying that it is an older complex. The owner was very very rude when I contacted her when we first arrived. It was so bad we left early.

Great communication and location

Check in was very easy and convenient. Property was an easy 5 minute walk to the beach on a very quiet part of Hilton Head. Communication with property manager was great. Overall, we had a great time on this trip.

Non-Goldilocks Experience!

The property was beautiful. The condo was clean (except the baseboards). There were no real pictures of the TINY bathroom. There was a rainshower, shower head with no real water pressure. I am a 6' tall woman and had to bend down if I was going to wash my hair. The bathroom mirror was hung for a 4' tall person. I had to bend down to attempt to put on my makeup. An additional mirror was provided, as there was only a single sink vanity. There was NO comfortable seating in the living room. It was a rock-hard futon that would only hold a 5' person laying down. The only other chair was a wicker, single-person glider with some cushions. There was no table to eat on in the condo. There was very little room to even move around the bed in the bedroom because the bed was a double bed - NOT ideal for two adults. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. The hall "bed in a open closet" was not that much better for sleeping. We booked and paid for 3 nights. Two of them were sleepless nights due to the horrible mattress. In fact, it was so bad we left after two nights of not sleeping and booked a hotel. We called VRBO to provide an update that we had left our rental. We were connected with the owner who said she appreciated us letting her know we had made our stay shorter so her cleaning staff could get in earlier for her next rental client. We let her know about the horrible beds, low water pressure and horrible shower head, & futon. She never offered any kind of refund.

Primitive beach

Needs updating. Not the cleanest. Owner extremely friendly and helpful. Beach is a natural beach so no waves , sand etc. Very muddy and no beach when we were there. Maybe better if not raining. Very private. Tenants upstairs very loud and disturbing during the night

Condo was smaller than described. Enough room for 2 adults, but not 4. No comfortable seating provided; sofa-bed especially uncomfortable for just sitting. Kitchen nicely furnished and bedroom small but comfortable. Beach items furnished, which was nice.

Nice - but needs updating.

Owner was very nice. Adequate small unit, the LR furniture should be rearranged and updated. Although generally clean, maid left wrong type of dish soap(there is no dishwasher) and the previous renters' recycling was left on top of the refrigerator. It was very reasonably priced - so we expected some glitches. Location not as ideal for biking as others on HHI. Shower faucet needs repair.

Wonderful property! It was just as described and check in was a breeze! Had a small problem (ours not hers) and communication was fast and the issue was resolved easily! Will definitely stay again and recommend!

John & I moved from the northeast to Hilton Head this year. We fell in love with this island, and this villa. It didn't take us long after coming down here to decide to make Hilton Head our home and move here as well.

Why they chose this property

The Spa at Port Royal Sound is a park like setting that is quiet, tranquil and great for families. This Island has over 150 restaurants, over 30 golf courses and the island is only 15 miles long! You would never know because it's all surrounded by trees and beautiful flowers.

What makes this property unique

Staying at our villa not only are you right on the beach but everything is within 10 miles away. You can shop at the outdoor shops or go the huge public beach in Coligny, or try some of the other beaches and shops along the way then come back to peaceful and tranquil villa and sit on the pier over the ocean while enjoying a cold beverage or cocktail. We have grills and picnic areas also located around the property. In the evening you can take a nice moonlight stroll on the beach or just sit right on the pier and watch the tide.
