Treetop condo w/private Deck

Cozy condo in the Treetops. We are located 2 miles from Big Mountain @ Whitefish Lake Resort, and a short drive (5 miles) to downtown Whitefish. Our recently remodeled one bedroom Condo has hardwood flooring, memory foam queen bed, twin bed, re-furbished shower/tub, Tiled entry, a modern kitchen with all amenities, fireplace, TV with Roku, Wi-Fi, and a private deck.

Ptarmigan Village is in close proximity to Glacier National Park, Whitefish Lake, Big Mountain Resort, Downtown Whitefish, and top ranked golf courses. You will experience incredible dining, local flavor, unique shopping, and award winning hand crafted brews and spirits. This area is home to unlimited recreational opportunities like snow skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, biking, hiking (just a few steps away), trail running, photography, horse-back riding, rafting, and all imaginable water activities..

What a great place to stay for a week. Used the pool, sauna and hot tub many times. Visited Glacier National Park for a bike ride and enjoyed the beauty of Montana. Thanks for a wonderful vacation

When I booked, April 1st, a twin bed was advertised and available for two adults and one teen. We were travelling for daughter’s soccer tournament in Kalispell, which owner was aware. Full payment was processed May 14th. May 29th, 4 days before check in, I was notified the twin bed was not avail., but there’s a couch and a comforter. Not ideal sleeping arrangements for playing soccer all weekend. I should have been notified at the time of booking or immediately when the bed wasn’t available not 15 days after paying in full and 4 days before check-in. There was zero vacancy in the vicinity and was a huge inconvenience for us and the team trying to find better sleeping arrangements other than a couch. Thankfully a teammate had an extra bed in their hotel room. A small credit was issued. However, this had a huge negative impact on our weekend. *****NOTE: pics are still inaccurate. There is NO tv in the loft area, only main living area. The couch is very worn with cracked leather finish and stains.

Again, I apologize for the mix up, and we have made the adjustment with VRBO. Regarding the leather couch, it is cleaned after every stay, but we do need to replace it.

Everything was fantastic. Very comfortable and secluded. We loved the balcony, had a mama and some baby deer walk through almost every day we were there. We had a hard time staying cool upstairs during the night, but other than that everything was still great! The hot tub was also a hit!!

This was a fun little cabin/condo in the mountains. We enjoyed our stay there very much. It had everything we needed, it was quaint, and a fun place to be. A little more light would’ve been convenient. It’s a little dark and one of the lightbulbs in the family room were burned out. But other than that, it was a perfect stay!

If I misled you, please let me know. I don't see anywhere where I said the lake, which is where the dock is located, is close. In the future, I recommend that you research and use a map application

Why they chose this property

We frequently enjoy our condo situated in the tree tops of the Big Mountain area. The location is perfect for us, as we are just 2 miles from the ski/summer resort at Big Mountain. We have an abundance of Hiking Trails, a private beach, and the overall feeling of living in the mountains. In addition, there is great dining, nightlife, and boutique shopping throughout Whitefish.

What makes this property unique

A benefit that you will enjoy is that there is a private deck. We have enjoyed the Ptarmigan Village spa, sauna, indoor pool, outdoor pool, and overall feeling as you are surrounded by nature at it's best.
