Paradise Port Douglas is a light, beautifully renovated colourful, ultra-tropical style apartment in the heart of the “golden triangle” of Port Douglas. Superbly appointed, combining luxurious styling (with some original art), and quality appliances with smart TV, Netflix and NBN internet. Paradise Port Douglas will be a highlight of your holiday.

The Space
The apartment has undergone a full renovation with all new furniture and appliances. This gave us the opportunity to unleash our creativity and passion for interior design. It is modern chic with a distinct tropical and colourful art. There is a luxurious leather chaise lounge for relaxing. The balcony is ideal for a relaxing afternoon or evening drinks.
Combining luxurious contemporary styling, including original art. All new appliances, Nespresso capsule machine, free hi-speed WiFi, Smart TV and NetFlix; as well as a Bose Bluetooth/Spotify sound system. A quiet oasis away from the bustle of Macrossan St but close to everything. The apartment is peacefully situated on the first floor at the rear on the opposite side from the traffic of Davidson St.
It has a separate bedroom with a king size bed (osteo-care medium firm) that can be configured as two singles. There is also a folding bed in the lounge for a child. For those with an infant we can supply a cot, linen, high chair, plastic bath, toddler toilet seat and beach toys.
The bedroom has an opening to the living room (that can be closed with sliding shutters) that gives a lovely airy spacious feel of living in the tropics.
The kitchen is fully equipped with induction cooking, full oven, DeLonghi Nespresso coffee machine, microwave etc. There is even a Nutribullet.
Guests have access to the heated (in winter) pool and pool side BBQ. There is covered parking on site. The apartment is close to the famous 4 Mile beach and a very pleasant shaded 10 minute walk to Macrossan Street and the Marina. There are very frequent shuttle buses out front that can take you to most places in PD.

Great relaxing stay.

We had a lovely weekend away to celebrate a friends weekend. Loved the cute apartment and was just what we needed. In close proximity to everything we needed. The communication was great!

Lovely apartment in great location

The apartment was great. Very clean and tidy and with some great amenities (like a coffee machine and oil / salt & pepper etc). Plus some nice extras like shampoo & conditioner. Ideal location for walking to the main cafes and shops of Port Douglas, plus very convenient for a short wander to the beach. Would recommend.

Lovely spacious apartment! Netflix and a Bluetooth speaker available for nice relaxing times. Host was very available to provide activity recommendations and advice for port douglas aswell. Thanks Craig!

Great location, fantastic apartment

We had a fantastic few weeks staying in the apartment, it had everything we needed and was very comfortable, clean, and an easy walking distance to the centre of PD. Craig was also fantastic and went out of his way to help us out when we got stuck in a tricky Covid situation! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to PD and would recommend highly to friends and family.

Craig first came to Port Douglas in the 1960's when it was a sleepy fishing village with a population of 150. In 1990 Jacqueline and I came for a holiday and it was magic. We have been coming back for several winter escapes since. From 2008 to 2015 we lived part time here and full time for the past 6 years. We have traveled extensively in Australia and overseas and regard Port Douglas a perfect paradise. We feel blessed to live here. We love sharing this area with our guests and provide lots of information of "what to do" and "where to go" and very happy to answer questions. We seek to make our guests stay as perfect as possible.

Why they chose this property

There are lots of wonderful properties in Port Douglas; particularly the houses. But they are a lot more expensive. Our apartment is for a couple (possibly with 1 infant) who want a quiet, conveniently located apartment that is not only comfortable but stylishly decorated. A great base to call home for your stay. A home that you can walk everywhere if you don't have a car. We constantly monitor the holiday rental market in PD and believe that we offer great value for money. We know that there are very similar apartments to ours that cost nearly twice as much.
