5 The Point Apartments is a beautiful two bedroom property with stunning views out to the west, over the pool to the Mountain ranges. This delightful tropical environment of palms and ginger lillies surrounding the 20m aqua pool - shared, is simply stunning. PLUS you can`t beat the Murphy Street location, on the hill in the centre of Port Douglas Village, close to dining and shopping, beach and the Marina.
Views are the feature from the living and dining areas in the apartment which is located on the first floor of this boutique complex of 11. Spacious and with lovely polished timber flooring throughout, and every convenience required for your perfect Port Douglas pad. The bathrooms have been recently renovated, and the bedding configuration is flexible.

Lovely well equipped apartment

Lovely, well equipped apartment in location close to centre of Port Douglas. Only negative of location was music from local bars could be heard on some occasions.

Thanks Tracey, we are very happy you had a great holiday. It is a shame that the noise impacted your enjoyment, however the local live music is only on the weekends and they have to adhere to very strict regulations with curfews and decibel meters. The noise can be muted by moving inside and closing doors.

Murphy st Delights

This is a great property for a week in PD, probably not suitable for older people who struggle with stairs or toddlers. Quiet but incredibly handy to Macrossan Street shops and cafes. Great pool and tennis court.

Great position

The property is well positioned / clean & well maintained with plenty of amenity however it is dated with the bathrooms very much of the 80's The noise from the bars below are a problem with music until 10 ish on some nights so not good if you are an early to bed

Great Holiday Location

Large apartment with a view over pool and tennis court toward the hills. Sunny in the afternoons. Garage for car . There are outside stairs to the apartment and stairs down to the pool and tennis court. Good wifi and large TV. Good Location and very helpful house manager.

Amazing stay in Port Douglas

What a great spot. A few minutes walk and you’re right on Macrossan St with all the shops and restaurants. Great little resort-like pool area as well, just a few steps from each unit. We had a 2 bdrm unit, which my daughter liked, and all the furniture was very comfortable. Great kitchen with some basics stocked for you. The place was really well appointed and felt very homey. Only drawback is that it is up a hill from town which is short but steep and kicked our butts on the walk back on the hot days! Would absolutely stay here again.

Fabulous Location & pool

What a fabulous place to stay! Close to the Centre of Port Douglas, short but steep walk into town and local shops, restaurants and bars. The pool was wonderful, tropically set very warm and as such a small complex very rarely had to share it! Lovely rooms, furniture and aircon/fans. Not really suitable for anyone with toddlers or people with mobility issues due to steps! Would definitely stay again and recommend it.
