Family Getaway @ Camp Hayden Lake
A family summer destination with creating memories for years to come! You're surrounded by breathtaking Hayden Lake views. The home features spectacular views from the kitchen, living room, and bedroom on the top floor and two more bedrooms on the ground floor. A fully equipped kitchen featuring a popular open-floor plan, allows the cook not to skip a beat entertaining family & friends. The kids would love their very own space in the two optional bunkhouses and separate bathroom and shower facility - bring friends (sleeps 8).

Day times will be filled with swimming off your own private rock or the over sized dock and sunning on the spacious mid-deck. There are numerous watercraft and land toys for adults and kids and lots of room to enjoy group activities or just kick-back and relax. Deck eating facilities, just off the kitchen, provide for BBQ-ing and group food fests. Evening walks in the forest, deck sitting, riding the Sea cycle, 17 ft 3 person canoe , are a great way to round out the day and then sleep like a baby in the awesome quietness that only the lake and forest can provide.

Enjoy super fishing off the dock or with the Sea cycle or the pontoon boat. There have been consistent catches of 14-16 inch Kokanee (Landlocked sockeye salmon), trout, bass, northern pike and crappie.

This year we are opening early with reduced rates. Due to uncertain weather, we will only have the main house available (sleeps 6) since the bunk houses do not have heating. In April and May you can enjoy fishing or just relaxing on the dock.

Great time spent at the lake!

This property is PERFECT for spending time in beautiful Hayden Lake! The swimming area is well protected by the dock, and is a perfect lake entry for all levels of swimmers. The sandy lake bottom is an added bonus! The house, while needing upgrades, is comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Lots of room to spread out to the outdoor cabins, which was definitely the “coolest” place to escape the August heat (no air conditioning on the property). There’s a beautiful grassy area to play lawn games - we brought a badminton net which kept us busy, but the property has several games as well. My one suggestion for renters is to BRING ICE - there’s a large ice freezer by the outdoor showers, and you’ll need extra ice to keep drinks cool if you’re using coolers. The ice machine in the freezer does not work well. We would definitely stay here again - and would recommend it for large groups who plan to spend most of their time on the lake.

Great Place for a Family Gathering

Had some plumbing issues early on but they were taken care of in a timely manner. Other then that it was an awesome stay. Hope to return with the family again soon.

Grandkids Vacation

This property easily accommodated a large family gathering. Clean and well kept. Beautiful lake front property that provided fun for all ages. The house was very functional and provided for all of our needs. We had a great time and would love to return someday.

Beautiful lake house

Had a small family reunion up at Hayden Lake. Loved the gorgeous lake view and swimming by the dock. The house and the bunkhouses fit us all comfortably. Lots of fun games/outdoor toys to play with. Jason was prompt to answer questions that we had. No issues with the neighbors during our stay (I’d seen some comments mentioned in other reviews and the guest book) A few hiccups—both propane tanks were empty when we went to use the grill for the first time. However, Jason brought full ones the next morning. One of the house wood deck chairs broke/collapsed when my elderly uncle sat in it—there are definitely a few others of that style that appear weathered and a potential safety issue. I apologized to Jason and he was very gracious about it. The fridge in the bunkhouse wasn’t getting cold, regardless of what setting we used. We also didn’t realize the loft area inside had no railing, so we had to temporarily move the couch to block off those stairs as we had 5 kids that were ages 4 and under. Overall, though, it was a wonderful stay —the kids had so much fun exploring and playing in the water. We would definitely rent this property again!
