High ceilings, tall baseboards, lots of windows, and gorgeous original hardwood floors are found throughout The Gainesville Cottage. The great room has a gas fireplace. The dining room is large and perfect for entertaining. The kitchen has been fully remodeled with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and beautiful wood cabinetry topped with crown molding.

The office is a beautiful space and surrounded by large windows, making it peaceful to work or browse the web and birdwatch at the same time. Looking to work out during your stay? The Gainesville Cottage is equipped with a Peloton Bike and guests have full access to classes! Sleep comfrotably with the Serta iComfort mattresses and hypoallergenic bedding.

The kitchen is fully-equipped and has everything you'll need to prepare and enjoy meals during your stay. The laundry room has a brand new Samsung washer and dryer. Enjoy the 55" smart TV in the great room, equipped with Roku, cable television, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and more.

Great stay

Such a great stay! Location was easy to get to and from campus, downtown, and midtown. Plenty of parking. The cottage was a gem, we felt right at home! It was very accommodating with amenities. Would definitely return with friends and family.

Amazing Cottage

Loved everything about this place and wish we could have stayed longer just to hang out on the well equipped backyard patio. Beds and pillows were super comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, the kitchen was stocked with appliances and accessories, and lots of bath accessories.

Wonderful Duck Pond cottage.

We were in Gainesville for the weekend and could not have found a better place to stay. The location, the quality of the cottage and the communication from Kathleen were excellent.

Exceeded expectations!

This rental is beyond perfect! I was already expecting it to be great per the wonderful reviews but the real thing i was EVEN better! The house is in such a lovely neighborhood. Walking the dogs was really enjoyable. We all loved the backyard. The house feels like a home. The decorations, furniture and appliances are the icing on the cake. The antique accents of this historic house seal the whole experience. Check in and out was very easy. Definitely rent this place! You will not regret a thing! Will absolutely come back and stay for longer next time!
